Darn Wolves get the Kodiak...and he even is a Ghost Bear pilot! And he even still has his Bear name! What's with the Steel Wolves, don't they have any pride?

Pfft... :p
bondsman bondsman bondsman is all i have to say to that post
ANYWAYS
the heatdial that lethewaters described are near nonexistant today
looked at Chin Wolf or Jeni Wolf?????
How about the SW CH sure the first couple had bad heat but otherwise our heat has been improving and dude HAVE YOU SEEN THE KODIAK'S HEATDIAL nothing till the third click which ONLY has avoid shutdown
Aff, Trothkin, the Kodiak ROCKS! But...Bekker? Bekker?!! Only a Bondsman (Isorla) would resort to physical combat with a Mech! errr DOH! What am I saying???!!!! I am a Wolf Warden! We will prevail, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY! muuuahahaha! hehe
Seriously, tho. That Kodiak looks way too good! GOTTA HAVE IT!
haha, Ayce, your lil buddy would not be allowed to compete for a Bloodname as a Wolf Bondsman. Also, I do not believe that the captured Clansmen in the novels were deprived of their Bloodnames. I remember a novel where a Blooded Clansman was captured then immediately returned to his dropship, but cannot remember who it was or in what novel. It has been way too long, and I have had way too many traumatic head injuries. Sorry, I tried to find it, and failed.
I do believe that THAT situation would negate what you described. Clansmen are known as (for instance) Vlad of the Wards, until he stole Phelan's Ward Bloodname, following the Great Refusal War and the subsequent killing of 2 Jade Falcon Khans. This new "Wolf" thing is fairly Dark Age Era stuff. Although it was used in the original B-Tech Universe.
Jeni Wolf- 5 Armor piercing, 11 Attack good movement with electrocamo and an increadable head dial, no explosions. She will rip you a new one real quick fron 14in away or 4 damage with HtH.
Tora's Hoverbike-14pts, 8 attack and 3 armor piercing and evade( AKA Jeni jr.)
Padilla Artillery-capable of 4 armor piercing and with its pogs on a center dot you only need to roll an 8 for the blast to hit that unit
Partasin AA- another unit with 4 damage and capable of hitting a VTOL almost anywhere with a 28'' AA range and even though it has a low attack to start it is still pretty easy to hit an on coming balac's low defence.
And finally The ordinance. I usually start my Padilla in one of thoes, run it up to make up for the padilla's short range and drop pogs on towed artillery or whatever may need it, and if something sends pogs at my padilla i can put it in the ordinance to make it resistant to balistic damage or just get it outta' there. the ordinance can also repair too.
As far as assault mech go i don't think they have a all around "good" assault mech. Something on par with One-Eye, an Atlas or even another Madcat would be a nice addation. Oh! Thats right we get a Kodiak, silly me.
Keep the Steel Wolves Like they are!
