Some factions will always be stronger in certain areas, and I guess AA will be a SS strength.

I think the multiple cheveron looking thing is just a decoration or something.

You can see that the unit has one cheveron near the front, middle of the tank.

Anyways though, I like it. I've always found that AA units tend to lack a tough punch. Sure, VTOLs can go down quick but when those things are pointed at you they never die fast enough.

Looks like an all purpose tank.

This is excellent! I imagine that there will be at least one more AA unit in this set to round out some of those factions lacking the ability - personally I am hoping for an AA Mech.

Well, so much for the theory that there will be two Elite units in this set -- looks like we're getting 2 Vetran units like we did in Liao.

If this tank ends up having no minium range, we'll probably be seeing alot of them.

Did you read the fluff. It stated that this was the second AA vehicle for Liao and the third for SS. Did I miss something?

this AA tank really needs to have a 10 attack value on the first click or 9 and IT. The problem I had with the partisans was that the attack value was too low to be a threat to VTOL's unless you took a formation. It was cheaper and more efficient for me to just take another VTOL to counter. I like the Highlander Donnar as a AA piece :grin: . Hard to hit, long range, and the 9 attack is okay. Mostly used to work on Swordsworn balacs (still don't have one of my own yet :( ).

I like the sculpt and I'm lucky enough to favor the factions (except wolves) that get this piece. It should be nice but the attack value will make or break it in utility.

I think they're counting the Liao towed AA arty as a vehicle. Hey, 0 movement and no driver's seat means no vehicle to me :p
