Are you talking about the Po II or Caden. If you are refering to Caden I have nothing against him and play him just as much as Joel, I was just defending Joel saying he is a rather good mech. As for the Po it is plain garbage and every HL player will agree with me, they have no uses to exploit.
at my venue i have no fear of seeing dashers, they just don't show up (yay) so mins arn't as much as a handicap, i personaly won't field cadden, he scares me, i'd rather field the atlas, it is much better.
On the note of the RotS units, i play almost strictly faction pure.
On the notes of replacing the poII, done, i have no wan't for them anymore.
I will now update the army:
Joel N.
Donnar X2
HBS X4
Peasent X 6
Long Tom

nah, joel's zeus can do just fine vs arnis. The trick is to keep thing out of base contact with you. Which, if you have the right pieces isn't that hard. Not to mention, with a little work you can pound an agility mech out of it's agility. I've done it with Nikol, who is 1 defense lower, and thus possibly more succeptable to charges.
Plus Joel has a pretty nice heat dial, with great all round abilities. I've found caden less problematic playing against then joel, but that because he is so easy to get to overheat/shutdown. Then you just pound him when he's down and can't avoid it.
Caden is good, but I'll take the heat management, and less drastically dropping attack values over caden on most instances.
Or course this is a SS player speaking who has learned to avoid the big no-no ammo explosions are mechs are designed with. Some how I think we should have consulted a different ammo storage developer instead of 'Jiffy-pop'.

I still have a (little bit) of a problem with the LT...but if you can keep enemy arty distracted long enough, more power to ya...
Joel's a VERY nice mech in pretty much every case and actually has the longevity to HtH Arnis into submition...(4 clicks...)
The Donnar's are Incredible Vtols, their only downfall being the limit of 2 dammage...but that can be gotten arround with softening up of Reflective/Hardened armor targets.

I love the Joel zeus, i was also thinking of usin the Joel koshi, but there is a big problem with it, it dies VERY quickly
Too True...He's best used in conjunction with a mech that takes more attention...that way you can use him in a harrassing role where he takes less fire...Joel and Joel actually make a nice combo...but only for 600+ games...too many points otherwise...

The ROTS/HL dynamic is the only factional mixes I'll make...(unless it's a camaign game and none of my factions are playing...then I'll use ROTS units being "lead" by the faction of choice...)
Turned out to be a pretty nice army there Inquisition...
(oh, and try out a varriant with the Shun+PBA's...Perhapse 2 Shuns+4 PBA's ^_^)

I use to play HL!
Yes the Po was not around when I was a HL player. But atleast I knew to take advantage of what I had to use..
Go back and do more studying of the HL faction you Green-y!
And the HL Po DOES NOT S*CK, it's the player who doesn't know how to use it..!
You know what Marik, I do play HL in today's tournament scene I can tell you I have at least 20 other units that serve my purposes much better than the Po. It's slow, it's attack sucks, and it only takes I think 5 clicks to salvage. If I want to field a cheap tank I would use a Regulator, a Condor, or maybe a Joust. It has no uses because it can't kill anythink, Arty would pick it apart, it's harder to break then the hover vehicles like the Condor or Regulater and a well placed shot can salvage it in one turn. So don't go about saying you used to be a HL player, I AM one and if you didn't even play HL when it came out how would you even know if it's good. And before you ask I did use it once in a tournament to try it out before I labeled it #### and I'll tell you I wish I had just put in 2 more HBS and a peasant they would have been way more useful.
Puma's Right there...That PoII is Pooo even for a HL Player...IMHO the RegII is the best tank we have as a faction (don't look at my User Icon right now...) It works wonders with our Purifiers, same speed and they block the sides...that and w/ 2 of 'em you get a 13 attack, 8 range, 3 AP Dammage formation...
