Their choice of the factions which get this infantry is just stupid from a CBT standpoint. The infiltrator was designed by House Davion and Steiner, but do they get one here? NO.... Instead a bunch of clanners get them. Give me a break.
By the way, this also establishes that Counterassault has two veteran units out of the four (like LI), rather than two elite units like many had guessed. Whatever.
BR one is decent, but has a short life AND one time use infiltrate
The Liao and SW are good since LI needs an infil unit and SW get the 10" range
The SC pay too much for a one time infil. unit whose dmage value is less than desireable.
I'm not sure if anyone's pointed this out yet... I haven't seen it posted anywhere, but it is interesting to note that this in fact confirms that we are NOT getting 2 elites per unit in this set, but again 2 veteran. Oh well.

Yeah, I noted this in my post above, 15 hours ago...
I don't know about the rest of you, but I really like the look of the original Infiltrator design (though this DA version should've looked better). The Infiltrator I first debuted in the cartoon series and I got the Tyco toy of it made back then. I think it looks very military-like with its big fist and huge shell of armor - it is supposed to be battle "armor" after all - and thus more realistic looking than some of the more recent stylized battle armor. That's why I'm ticked off that the swordsworn didn't get either an Infiltrator I or II, even though the Davions designed both of them.
My one question about the Infiltrator I is: how did the guy wearing this suit fit his own legs into the suit's back-canted chicken legs
Many battle armor-suits actually have some kind of cockpit in which the BA-trooper sits. The Infiltrator Mk.I is just like that. It's legs are entirely robotic. More of the larger BA's have this.
In many cases it's more a matter of piloting the suit than wearing it. Cavalier BA also has those birdlike legs, so the suit's pilot sits entirely in the torso section. A cramped ride, if you ask me... personally I would prefer a Kanazuchi or a Longinus.
