It should have been 4 from the begining. How many venues do you know of that ran 2 events a week?

I know of one ~50 miles away that did. Id would occsionaly head up there on Saturdays to play.
And i was trying to get another player approved as a BM so he could run the non campaigns on the weekdays.
They finally approved him in October-after he long since quit playing

But I'll agree 4 is better- enough for one a week. But one they quit that it breaks up the regular schedule of attendance

Bingo. And once they do that folks will find other activities to do. Playing every week seems to have critical mass. How often do you hear:

"What's next week's battle?"

"Or there's alway next week."

People like the routine.

yup one i played 40k weekly i would show up, plot out next weeks armies and play. Once i stopped playing weekly is topped playing- and buying.

And of course once agiant here are no events for a game club this month either

Yes, that's a shame.... I'm trying to get our club approved, and it's starting to look like even if I do, I'll end up providing the prize support they send me as "envoy rewards", which isn't that big of a deal, but I know a lot of the guys would like to have a chance to win the pieces for the faction(s) they collect.... Fewer and fewer opportunities to do so now. Faction wars was a huge boost in local sales, the sealed events are hard to sell with the exceptions of: right after a new release and for some killer LE prize... Otherwise the $30 entry fee gets a bit much for the players. Maybe it's different in places with lots of venues... Just my opinions of course...

I really hope that organised play does not go away :( I am happy with 1 Sealed, 1 HTH, 2 Senario's per month...If organised play does go the way of the DODO, then i will just get a few singles online O_o Serious, If they want to kill the game Then this is the right track........ i just really really really hope that this is not a trend........

Jan: 2 campaign,1 Marquee, 1 Demo limited to the 1st 300 signups! and no club events
Feb:2 Campaign,1 Sealed, 1 Demo
Mar 1 Campagin, 1 sealed, 1 demo - No clubs

Well this.........Really worrys me...I Play this game because i think its fun, and because once in a while i get an LE so thats a bonus...but.....i really really really hope Wiz/Topps Turns this around in April........ <_< *shakes fist at topps*

Less organized play = less players = less money.

I wonder if anyone at WizTopps realizes this? Or if they are truly stupid enough to believe people will keep paying and playing without some sort of competitive sanctioned scene.

well........Their is not any Baseball organised play league lol.....so i will believe anything...O_o who knows...... Grrr i want more events......not less. But Plus side, The LE's are not Craptacular this time.

Yes i would :) If their was a FW in march i would be happy :) Heck 1 senario a month for every FW we can have :) O_O THE WOLVES WILL CONQUER YOU ALL :)

While that is a possibility (FW was added after the intial signup) it seems so unlikely FW was in october and that was like 5 months apart. 6 I could beleive, but the also have the nationals qualifiers in March
