Combat Engineers - I'd play them for the command alone. 12pts is like 2% of your 450, and that's cheaper than any infantry I play!
Special Forces - Interesting. 9 attack is a big suprise, but I'd go for The Scorchers for 12 pts. more.
ATV - For 10 points! Hell, that guy can get to a DZ in record time! Just as a distraction he's awesome, and the AP means a chance to hurt tough artillery (SS A4) Low chance of gettign there, but every pog he attracts is one less landing on my moe expensive forces!
Mortar Squad - I really Donno. I guess a good DZ gaurd, but I don't think I'd play him. for 26 points, I can get a :^: Towed A4!

Yeah, but a :^: Towed A4 can't be put in a Sprint to start pogging the opposing DZ either. With 2 damage it can defeat armor on the SS A4 and the Sprint will give you another command roll to go with the Combat Engineers.
Wilson- Just remember that almost ;) any of your infanty can hit them consistently with their eyes closed and you can kill them in one turn if you use something a little tougher than infantry to fire at them.
The command engineers will see play for sure and so will the mortar squad with its 2" blast. The low target number for the mortar squad is the key with the BR Sprint for transport it is highly improbable that the mortar squad will be left out to dry in the field.

Yeah, I know you're right. ;) Plus, if I see a BR Sprint/LE Mortar
squad combo getting ready to go, I'll just reach for my SH Aesir!
:)

So much for thinking you only played Highlanders........:)

but what does that 6N in the Mortar's Squad stand for?
As in what SE is that.. or color lol
Thanx
I put a color code key at the top of the list before the units.

18-9=9-4 for LOS=5 unless you were talking only getting a total of 17 and drifting the 1'' which w/a 2'' blast radious still hits.
It has a 2" blast radius, and the minimum target for a 2" drift is 13. You need 13-9=4 (LOS is not clear because you place the pog under a unit's center dot).

Anybody have info on the Liao wasp LE?
If they are SU, then that makes the command engineers better, but makes the SFTs worse. 3 clicks of life is bad enough, taking it down to 2 is just crazy.
And I did say at the top that I couldn't confirm the stats, so I hope everyone saw that and will take them with a grain of salt.
Well, considering how weak regular BR infantry is, these units have good attack values. I believe the mortar is a bit expensive, but lets see. The ATV is like a Minigun, 4 pts less. The Enginners are a very good asset. I'm waiting for these guys as BR is my 2nd faction
Incidentally, I can confirm all these stats as being right on, except that the Mortar Squad only has a 1" blast. None of the infiltrate is single-use, which means you need to push the Combat Engineers to get to the Command. Honestly, I would have preferred to have it be SU. Two clicks of life on a 12 point Command infantry sounds balanced to me.
I predict the ATV, the Combat Engineers, and the Mortar will all see competitive play, which makes it one of the more competitive infantry packs since DA.
