No it would not. Microsoft's mechassult line has NO IMPACT on MW:DA OR CBT fiction, products, or gameplay.

It's not canon. Heck, one might argue that the mechanics in MW:DA aren't as related to BattleTech (as we know it) as it is to generic mecha combat.

Yeesh calm down people. It's just an action game! Relax and take a breather. It was mentioned in another article that 'cloaking' for tanks was one of the things added in order to help make tanks more useful instead of just being fodder.
