Liao Shockwave and another mech that is good but lacking in defence value, like using the Liao/Merc Shockwave combo.

Im thinking of running a twin mech army...Stefani Ehli and Bart Bradshaw...328 points still leaves 122 points of support.

I'm sorry but for dual mechs, nobody beats Jacky Tadaka and Scott Tracyk ;-P

Actually I have had the most success with Skullcap Garrett and Romain Teasarek. Last weekend I played a lance of Skullcap Garrett, the Elite Spider, the Green Pheonix Hawk, and Santiago Padilla for kicks... I did rather well ^^

tactics are still alive and kicking for the more free-form armies (tank-drop armies etc. were designed to do one specific thing, of course they don't leave room for 'tactics'... but general armies do ^^ like what you'd see back in Dark Age)
