Originally posted by TyeDyeSamurai Morgie seems like a powerhouse at first... but 112 points is a lot to put into an average fig for its triple MC.
Plus, to fully utilize it, the figs have to be an average of 33 points or less, otherwise it's an early grave for her.
With four clicks of mind control she can control three characters with and average of 66 points four times before she needs to be healed. After 4 nonconsecutive rounds of the heroclix version of a three stooges movie your opponent should be hurting.
At 112 points there's plenty of room to add good support even in a two hundred point game (Thinking pyro, black panther, paramedic and maybe something else).
Her only real weakness would be against stealthed figures since she can simply use psychic blast against battle fury figures.
I think we'll see a good amount of her in Marvel fights.
I'm glad you pointed that out. Is this another Indyclix rules change, or has it always been this way? Missed this entirely, but it's not like there's been characters with multi-range MC anyhow, U Elektra aside.
It's always been that way.
I was just saying to use the triple mind control that seems so enticing, it would be easy to add up 100+ points and take damage.
Although it does give her a nice safety net. Pick three targets to have a high chance of controlling at least one.

Which part of Psychic Blast allows a MC attack to disregard Battle Fury?
Moon night is greater than nightwing. He's a wealthy genius who came back from the grave with crazy powers. Plus, he's a master of lots of forms of combat.

That and I bet Batman holds tons of stuff over Nightwing's head. About putting him up and training him and stuff. "I've done everything for you and this is what I get?" That kind of stuff. And really, who need's that when you're trying to fight crime?
If Black Panther isn't a match for Nightwing then Moonknight sure as hell isn't. Nightwing is not to be underestimated, even if moonknight could've been a little better.

Sorry, didn't explain that well. If you try use Battle Fury as a counter to Morgan's Mind Control she will still be able to use psychic blast. This is significant since most of the Battle Fury figures have some form of damage reduction.
Now that I think about it, Morgan isn't only good because of her mind control. She also frees any of your outwitters to focus on powers like charge, super strength or leap/climb.
As another side note I don't think it's fair to compare morgan to mandarin, there is a 29 pt difference between the two. 2 con-artists and a paramedic puts them within 1 point of each other and makes Morgan look a lot better.
And don't get me started on SOD, OWAW, or any other 200 plus point figure. All she needs is some perplex on her attack and damage and with psychic blast she is more than a match for them.
The Avengers really have gained a good member in Heroclix. Experienced Moon Knight is good also.
Man, these Uniques in CM are all pretty good. And we still haven't seen Beta Ray Bill. I hope I have some good luck with the Uniques I pull, since I still have no Nightcrawler.

With regards to Morgan- I can't help feeling that the Shape change is wrong and that it's actually supposed to be Prob Control, as Shape Change doesn't make any sense for her at all, and we'd been told Prob Control was on her. Besides, it's often easy to confuse the two blues. I really really like. And just because she has 3 arrows doesn't mean you have to use them. One could also MC two figs for less than 50 points without taking a click. Just the fact that she has MC with 12 range is nice enough for me. And if you're willing to take a click, you could MC up to 3 figs less than 66 points each, or 2 figs up to 75 points each! Nice. The possiblities are endless....
Must have....

Ah, yes, Warbird, the lauded lady of Critical Mass! Her dial is right on target and is better than I thought it might be. I was expecting 8 clicks of life, we got 9. I figured she'd only get 1 click of invulnerability, we got 2 plus a dial full of toughness. She has a 10 movement for both her running shot click AND her charge click...very nice. And, she's got a good dose of ranged-combat expert with 2 damage at 8 range which is further than I thought she'd get.
All in all, she just made the set for me!
As for Morgan Le Fey, I actually assumed she'd be one of the figures to get shapechange when they said it was crossing over, so I'm not really disappointed she didn't have probability control. That with inc. would have been very, very nasty, but I can do without it. She's cheap enough to use with a couple of mid-level attackers plus support figs and expensive enough to both worry and entice your opponent. Warbird can take her though!
I'm also very happy with Moon Knight and feel the exp. version might just be the most bang for your buck yet. And, he's an Avenger!
As for being tougher than Nightwing, I'm not going to dare touch that one. However, I will say that I have a feeling that if both Black Panther and Moon Knight would have been made as DC clix, they would have probably been about 20-30 more points each. This is because they have been included mainly as "support" figs for the Avengers. In DC, as stand alone characters, I have a feeling they would have ended up with even more outwit/perplex type powers. DC Heroclix seems to love the costumed, non-superpowered, hand-to-hand "loners" more. Just a thought.

At least Panther has BCF and Outwit.
Wizkids made Batman and Nightwing way too powerful for "trained normals." Exactly what is Nightwing throwing that he gets 8 squares compared to Moon Knight's 4 squares, jet-assisted Batarangs? Oh, Nightwing has access to Batman's wealth and technology? Hrm, Seems that Marc Spector is a millionaire too. For as much as Moon Knight can do, his dial is surprisingly white.
I can't wait for the Punisher figure with a 2 square range....
