I was expecting to see mechs from AoD, oh well I'll still play though I have them all, maybe trade for some Falcons Prey.

does this mean that some events will be under Dark Age rules and some (not showed) will be using AoD rules?

Well, I'm happy with it. I got Ichiba Pryde and recently traded for Hendrene Michelik (DOH!) but the others are all attractive to me- particularly Dock Steward, who I missed and really want, and Geoff Morgan- I'm collecting Mercenaries and the longbow is one of my favorite sculpts. Course, it figures he's in a sealed...

That'd be nice (I still don't have Bart Bradshaw, Stephani Ehli, or Tamara Duke), but all those units are being retired. (Bart Bradshaw's sold out, anyway. If they released him as a prize I'd be pissed, since they returned my check with the redemption form for him. Of course then I'd be pleased I could finally get him easily...)

I think they should have used the remainder of the non-retiring units from Faction Wars, plus Ion Murphy, and any other post-DFA pieces that haven't been prizes in regular tournaments.

Wow, I don't recall WK ever offering a second crack at a Marquee prize, interesting. And Ichiba's a darn good fig. I like.

Plus in January, BMs can run AoD rules or our Unrestricteds, so we can get the test sessions going early. Awesome.

So they arnt even going to break out the good le's till Feb? O_o so i guess we still wait and hope for more story line events.

Ahhh time to clear the warehouse. Hmm Mason, and Gunsho, were given out pretty heavily at the last two years tournaments. for random fellowships and for battlemaster awards... Bart was sold out.... The others should be available.. hopefully soon.. ahh rusty cooper and the purple dial!! whoo hooo

The bad news:
Marquee prizes are no longer "rare", and a lot of Marquee prize values just dropped through the floor.
The good news:
I've got 'em all, except for Revekka, so I can play #### that otherwise would never see the light of day!

I just noticed that they listed a sealed tournament for January '05 -- using Dark Age rules. No AoD??? What boosters?? Dark Age, FFE, and DFA will be retired and NOT ALLOWED. CA has been sold out for months. That leaves FP and LI. My venue stopped carrying FP because nobody will buy the junk.

Interresting.

And what about the storylines? They were supposed to be back with AoD.... then no AoD => no storylines
