I was wondering if it does come with pilot? Because the order form said it cost $6.99 per 'Mech. Limited to 2 per orders.

In the past, mail-away 'Mechs have costed $5. Then the price went up to $6.99 for Raptor "X-Axis" with Dave Rees because it came with the pilot, same as Phuong Trahn with her Prowler, and the most recent "Grinder" with Steven P. Frohnhoefer.

Actually, the reason it went up was, more than likely, because shipping costs have been skyrocketing. The price of gas has been going up for a bit, and it doesn't look like it's going to come back down any time soon.

The cost of manufacturing goes up as the cost for the plastic and paints increase as well as the cost of shipping it from China and then shipping it to our door.

How many boosters do you have to preorder?? I looked for a number but could not find one. Can I preorder one booster and then order two mechs?

Errm......it says four in the first line. Second word, in fact. Hell, I'll just put it into numerical format. You need to pre-order 4 boosters.

I meant is that when WizKids start offering new Mail-away 'Mechs they come with the pilots.

Now, new mail-away for Firepower comes without pilot? Meaning, the price will go up for next 'Mech with pilot? Because since Rokurokubi mail-away doesn't come with pilot and charges the same as other mail-away 'Mechs with pilot.

Technically, you are getting the 'Mech for free. The fee you pay is strictly for shipping costs. The cards weigh next to nothing, and so do nothing to add to the cost of shipping. The fact that the shipping costs increased at the same time as they started adding pilot cards is actually just a coincidence. As a result, it still costs them the same to ship it to you if it has a pilot or not.

I also see why they didn't include a pilot on this one, and I don't think they were trying to be cheap - I think they were trying to do something a little different. They've offered a non-unique 'Mech for a change, instead of a unique 'Mech as a mail-away. Since there is no matching pilot for it, they didn't include a pilot - though I'm sure Firepower will give you plenty of options for pilots to use (and the Chu-I Ultra Rare pilot should work with it nicely, as well).
