Now wait a second, H22chen! Did two players actually literally say that? That 'binary' joke is old, very old even.

One player at the venue i used to play at religously had the most horrible luck. Never could he roll what he wanted or needed. He's gone so far as to hurl his dice out of the store into the highway outside.

Things seemed hopeless in one of his fights and my one friend said

Aw don't give up, if Davey Crocket had that attitude in the Alamo imagine what would have happened.

2) What Crit-Miss-111 said is more then true, and I really wish the other players would tone it down.

3) HHGambit14's last name: Sanchez....his only known nickname: Dirty. Every joke revolves around that most of the time.

4) "Hey, Jen, what's the shutdown penalty?".....cause apparently after fourteen thousand times of asking this, none of us have learned it.

My friend, unskilled in the ways of the capture, watching my SC Combat Engineers approach his half-dead Declan Devalis. The first game he ever used Declan in, he ended up having to kill him :p

That must have left a sour aftertaste in his mouth... but isn't it so that you actually cannot shoot at captured units? For captured units to become legitimate targets, they need to be bypassed first. That way they become a part of your opponent's army.

Some of my past favorites include:

"He's got nothing but tanks and infantry. This'll be easy!" - younger player whose Malice army I wiped out with a DF Schmitt drop army.

"I'm killing that Arrow IV!" - younger player who tried for 50 minutes to kill a SS Arrow IV played by GuppyLips, to no avail.

From a game last week, when a WH Kelswa crit-hit a HK ATV Squad - "That ATV just got TOLD!"

AsburyGrad, is that younger player still playing, or did the more competitive players beat all the fun out of the game for him?

...Oh. Well, it was a long time ago (pre-AoD), he didn't know either, and we were playing in his dining room, so no one else cared :p

I later ended up painting that 'Mech for him...

Way back in the day, one of the original Battlemasters in my area did something that was pretty funny. The event was a marquee tournament with alot of people and the atmosphere was very tense. The 1st round started and everyone was quiet and zoned into there game. Now to set this up, one must know that BMs call out the times as the games get closer down to the wire. Well we were all sitting there into our games, locked into mortal combat, and our battlemaster says "5 minutes..." (like theres 5 minutes left in the round) "Have gone by." We all freaked, because we were like, Ah gotta kill something AHHHHH, before we heard "Have gone by" We all laughed, and it eased the tensions up. It was very funny.
