Sorry for the typo, I'm trying to cook lunch at the same time. No i'm not tryin to bump my post number, I just dont see the point of jumping all over someone who's new and acting like an @sshole for the fun of it. We were all new at once and the only wat any new ideas are going to be created is if people talk about them. The combo might be new to him and his area and he's just try to get a good combo going. so instead of attacking him you could cut him some slack until gets accustumed( bad sp) to the realm

I'm sorry that so many people around here are mean, jerks, A***oles or a combination of the three. If you came up with that on your own and you are new to this hobby, you are in better shape than I was when I started just throwing armies together. Stick to it and don't let the bullies scare you away.

Some favorite combos: (not new or original, so don't climb up my corn-hole ok?)

1. Shockwave and pushspawn.

Shockwave your opponents clowns down and your beasties up. A win/win situation if there ever was one.

2. Necro and pushspawn - especially werebears have a
good chance of coming back in their strong slots.

3. Winter orb, megrim, howling mine, bottomless pit, etc. 4x dauthi slayer, 4x barrow ghoul, 4x necrophage, 4x sarcomancy. ####, am I old or what?

Maybe instead of harassing newbies we could all get back to posting our favorite combo's

I cannot and will not judge your playing abilities. But it is obvious you are a newbie on these boards and your attitude of "I know everything best" does not help you. Instead of #####ing when people tell you your army is neither new nor especially great, try to listen to counterproposals. I agree my first response may have been a bit harsh and I did not give you alternatives. But still, having beat a few friends with an army you built for the first time in your local play group does not make it the bread and butter of all armies.
The phrase:Is not really something that makes one think of you as a good player. What does possession of a Hierophant or Creator have to do with playing skills ? I cannot know wether you "use them well" or not.
2 possible solutions:
- come down from your high horse and take advice like every single poster here did before
- show us all what a great armybuilder you are and let us gape in awe at your creations

Just posting vague comments about your skills aint bringing us nowhere.

Ya know, I wasn't exactly helping you, I was sort of telling you to calm down. Stormfox does kind of have a point, and I don't care who you are, how long ago you signed up, or how good you think you are, because 99.99% of the time, Moderators generally have good advice.

Well, the part about using the wrong forum was meant in moderator duty. The other part is just my personal opinion.
I read through all your posts you made here so far. It looks like you got a good idea of the game, but you are by far not the best player out there. What really surprises me is that you seem to know about "timmy" and know your Creator is worth more then a Troll Chief, but on the other hand never noticed that the "killer combo" was old news.
The main problem with your armies so far seems to be that you think a single strong figure or a single good formation is unbeatable. Classical mistake, almost everyone made it once. You have to create a homungous army, where every piece brings something towards victory. If the pieces do not work together or are just plain worse then similar figures, the army might be fun to use but not really powerful.
This holds especially true with figures like Hierophant and Creator. In 300 points, they eat up around half of your armies points allowance, forcing you to decide carefully what to add. You do NOT want to push such figures if you can help it, and they are hard to heal, even with a Faith Healer.
Your EP/Troll combo is not bad per se. Its just that in 200 points, it may lack support. Neither the Demi nor the Woodgolem have any point in your army, and should be replaced by something that can either fight or back your formation up or provide harassment.

Anyways, when people criticize you, dont take it serious. Lot's of people here like to goof around. But you, you are one of those newbies that thinks "I'm always right so bug off!"
I have been criticized a couple of times, and I dont take it serious.

Oh, Moderators do have the right to say what they want.So do other people, as long as it's within reason. but Mods. are the cream of the crop. They lay down the law. And if you dont shape up, you are OUT!

A word of advice solanovi dont pick fights with moderaters it has never worked. Remeber they have special powers. And dont pick fights with the older posters as well they have many friends and everyone likes to jump on the band wagon
