Is this unique fig a HERO or a MAGE SPAWN? Or something in between. This makes a big difference in the backstory, name, etc. Does anyone know which one for sure?
Yes I know for sure.
No I ain't telling. :P
Yes, you can submit more then one entry as long as each entry is unique from the others.
Nope, no tips! Don't try and read more into what I post, it's late, I'm tired, and none of this is the official word. You want the official word, go to the official site. This is just me trying to answer a few questions ;)
If you can't globalize the legalities for an international contest, then at the very least you should spread them out geographically. Now you have all these contests for only US citizens, while the rest of the globe is left high and dry. How about taking the half dozen new contests and varying the locale elegibility?
Thanks Mr. Goddard, or Kevin... I think I'll send in a few unique entries so I can cover a few areas, or I think? W/e, thanks for letting me know that we have to do the work, and we won't b gettin freebies.
Here's the kicker, from what I can see the rules already conform to Candian regulations. It's not as if they have to offer a skill testing question, it's already a contest of skill. Several other companies open up their contests to at least Canada as well, so it can't be that difficult to find out what the regulations are in other countries. Come on Wizkids, make your lawyers earn their retainers.
To all foreign members I suggest that we let Wizkids know how we feel about being excluded. Go to their website and send them a polite e-mail voicing your displeasure. Be professional, no cussing, no screaming and be sure to spellcheck. Let them see there are a lot of us out there who aren't happy about this and want to see a change. Maybe once they know how unhappy their international customers are they'll change policy.
I think there is an interantional MK community which all play the same game and will all be part of the evolution of the game.
If contests are only for US citizans, I think you have to change your strategy.
Everyone sees know what support you are given to US people while the others are looking from the sideline, not able to be part of the evolution.
PS: Is the campaign in July also only for US citizens or worldwide ?
Otherwise you even distribute LE's to American players with no possibility for other country's. Meaning the LE's are much harder to get there.
I hope you will find a solution soon. The whole community deserves to be treated the same way.
Last note: if there are problems for the BENELUX region. Let me know. I will be glad to help you out.
I was ready to send my e-mail with a couple names (one for a hero and another one for a MS).
I must agree with my Belgian friend, I'm feeling #### bad about L.E.'s and contests.
Not only that, the brazilian company responsible for WK products distribution sucks, they haven't released Unlimited and Sinister yet, and if you wanna get some, you either have to import it by yourself (paying a lot of taxes) or buy cases or booster from other people who import and sell it for small fortunes.
Sorry about my complaints, but as a consumer I feel absolutely alone down here (not only me, most brazilian players do).
It would be really nice if someone at WK could read the post about the bazilian finals.
This looks to be a pretty fun contest. (I'm a newbie by the way) But in reading the rules, I came across some questions. KevinGoddard, can you please clear these up?
[ag] First, it mentions in the fine print that only one entry per person will be accepted unless otherwise specified. I assume that applies here. So I can only enter one name for the cat chick, right?
[ag] Second, in the introduction it mentions that the subject line should read:
Quote
Email your entries to [email protected] with the subject of Name That Dungeon Figure.
...but, in the fine print it says:
Quote
with the subject of the email referring to the contest you are entering: Name That Dungeon Unique! No other methods of entry will be accepted.
Now, normally I wouldn't give a hoot except for the "No other methods" statement. Which subject line should we use to submit our entries?
[ag] And finally, just a quick verification. All we have to do is name the warrior, right? I can't find a statement that says that we should submit a history.
Well, that is it for now. I will be busy bidding on a case of Sinister Boosters to get at least one of the horsemen. :D Thanks for being here to answer questions.

Actually it says one "unique" entry. Meaning you can submit multiple entries, as long as they are not the same.

Actually that's the last thing I am going to be picky over. It just helps get it to the right people for judgeing. I did however, fix the page so it says Name The Dungeons Figure.
