It's 8 actions to move up field, but I don't think your shaman or grave robber will move a whole lot.
The strategy would be to put your ram in between your magus and two technos
like uh... this
.....skeleton.........
.......Magus.......
sk.Tc.Ram.Tc.sk
So he can be ML 3 times on one turn.
You would want to put a skeleton on both technos and one on the magus.
The scorpem gunner and utem guard could go wherever in that formation.
So you can sit at your leisure magic blasting or ML your ram and skeletons, untill they put the pressure on you. Thats when your scorpem gunner and imp come in. Imp ties something up, gunner relieves some pressure (maybe torching a formation if the opportunity presents itself. Also, if the opportunity presented itself, Chuck the Utem guard 38 inches (providing you got a command role) Have him move 8 inches, then ML him 3 times off the board.
Likewise, if they are sitting there turtleing, dont hesitate to set up a YO YO with the scorpem.
