If you use Magic Levitation, there is no break-away roll.
vcptek: Movement is defined as the center dot moving, or any rotational effects. If you want to re-word it so that Ram only works you need language to the effect of:
When given a Move action...
Otherwise Magic Levitation fullfills the movement requirement for Ram to activate.
and if I assigned a move to wartchetkrugg then levitate it by the two technos will it move 30'' what about if i have an enemy 10'' from wartchatkruug will it ram it 3 times?????
how about levitating a double base fig instead. will it deal a shakeoff damage in case it will be placed on an enemy wherein the back arc is at the front arc of the enemy then be levitated again will it deal shake off damage????
...I know this is going to be unpopular, but I think ML in its current form is broken. I think it should be limited to one levitation per turn. To be able to move a single figure up to 20 inches in a 200 point game without him even getting a token...is too big an advantage. And if he is a ram figure..... Geez
Yes, ML is pretty broken, but you have to remember one simple thing: the basis of most ML armies is ram, and if your opponent has lots of figs with toughness, there goes the neighborhood. Problem is, not too many commonly played figs have toughness, so there you go. Then, there are still the yo-yo armies that charge/bound, then ML away. See? Magic levitation IS broken. They should either limit it to one ML per warrior per turn(but that still doesnt really affect yo-yo), or say that ram damage is only done when a fig moves under it's own power.
No breakaway roll is ever needed for ML, and no shakeoff damage can be dealt without a breakaway roll. Many people think that ML is broken, but just remember that you might be facing it and then plan for it, that's the metagame.

If you Levitate a fig with Ram into an opposing player, when the levitated rammer doesn't need a break away roll to break away?
Am I understanding this correctly? If this is true, could ya PM me or post in more detail how this is possible? I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
here goes...
an opposing figure is 10" away... and your galeshi ram is in B2B with your techno...
you move the ram 10" dealing RAM damage to the opposing figure... and then Levitate the galeshi ram to another position (w/o breaking away) or to ram him again.
I also agree that ML is Broken. Well, not broken, but abused. Lot's of players use the ML/Ram or a Yo-Yo. It's a great tactic, don't get me wrong, but I would like to see something changed.
I heard a rumor, I forget where, but I heard that one of the things the WK wuz thinking was to add a action token to a ML'ed fig. Has anybody else heard that? Or an I mistaken?
