DeathCap, sorry about that. I copied and pasted from my conquest army-in-progress and didn't mention that. I meant for it to illustrate a way to beat down buildings using yo-yo- not necessarily hi t the point limit. You could get it under 400 pretty easily though (assuming you don't just Jedi mind trick them into believe you are under the limit).
Pyre Spirit -> ** War Krugg +47 pts
Magus -> * techno +43 pts
395, total add and * imp and your good to go.
You do that and you loose some of the scarinessof the original, but it still knocks down buildings pretty good.
The big problem for the AG is the far building. It's a 21 Def & takes 5 damage to destroy. That means that when you get to it you need to be able to do 5 damage since the buildings are all or nothing i.e. they are destroyed or unhurt by an attack.
I've been contemplating using the GFD as part of my force. It's one of the few units with the mobility, defense and damage values to get to the back and launch an attack against the building.
Actually, there are very few units capable of destroying that building unless they are enhanced. The ones with Flame/Lightning (for the important +2 to hit vs. the 21 Def) are the Flame Minion, the Hierophant, the GFD (at any age) and the Fist of Tezla (at both levels). So, it looks likely that the building will be standing at the end of the battle.
The great fire dragon, well if you are going to use a dragon in the scenario he is the one. That is most likely the best suggestion I have head yet. Any others?
mstorch, that is ok we all make mistakes (some more then others [including me])
Blizzard: i never said that Athene was meant for the towers, she's good at softening up some of the opposition.
Hmmm, i was thinking of using an arcane in the scenario, never thought of levetating him....i love the idea, i might use it. If not there's always the stone thrower, or even Stormy
Btw do you get the +2 attack if you have F/L or only if you use it (which makes no sense)?
Deathcap, I think it would be safe to bet on my continuing making mistakes. Like above when 43+47 =100. Uh, Duh. I guess you really shouldn't post on no sleep.
Yes, my army's strategy would have problems with yo yo and LI, but fortunately for me, ML is not prevalant in my area, and no one(except me) ever uses warrior sprites. I based my army around the strategies that are most used around here. My only concern is the AG player using siege pieces, particularly the orc raider catapult, I cant believe how low-cost that thing is. I am still fairly confident I can do well with my intended strategy, considering the local environment
Cell: you're the first BPR rep to actually voice that concern (to my knowledge). I'm currently thinking of using that wonderfully cheap artillery piece. Who'd have thought that the orcs wouls actually get something else that might be usefull ;)
It's better than that mortar. Expensive spitoon for only 3 damage, i'm actually disapointed in the dwarves.
Problem is, I dont have the orc raider catapult, I haven't gotten my Conquest pack yet, I just bought Nyx, Ballista, and Cannon from someone who did. I just have one question-how the heck can the orc raider catapult be so cheap? And chances are, my opponents will ME the siege pieces, and then use the stonethrower to hit from 24 inches away for huge damage, destroying any building easily. Any ideas on how to combat a super-enhanced stonethrower?

Well maybe they used cheap materials, i dunno but i find it funny that the orcs get the cheapest (and highest attack) artilery piece.

Oh i wish i could! but the rules state that Titans can't be affected by ML and ALL the artillery pieces are considered titans, since they do have their large base. Trust me if i could do that, then everyone would REALLY hate AG if they could have pulled that stunt off.

Wish i could help you there, but i might be using that tactic. :D

could the bpr benifit from the sweeping chariot combo? (also can someone clarify for me, is it printed damage to all, or 1 damage to all in the sweep?) (and all 4 arcs, or just the back 3?) thanks
