Great Tiger, where are getting a double digit action count from? I count 3 command units (Athene, Magus, Summoner), so you get get 3+1 for having a command unit and a 3 in six chance of getting another. I see that a 4 anda half actions. Unless you're using binary, that's not double digits.

u can get swarmed way to easily. The way conquest was made emphasizes formations of around 5 to 10. If u think u have so much "Power" then go to the tourney and watch yourself get killed.

He can have up to 10 if he rolls right 3 for the points 3 for the 3 command figs +1 for haveing 3 command figs and 3 rolls for a total of 7 +3 if he rolls right;)

Wrong.. it's 7 if he roll's those 6's

lets see.... 3(1200point army) +1(command figs) +3(if 3x 6's are rolled)

Athena has pierce not command so there are only two commanders.

Everyone who says swarm will kill you is right think of a formation of say 9 revvienguard and a standerd bearer. They move on a 12 and most of your army as no toughness there magic retal. will eat you up!!! They will get your stonethrower a kill it before you even see the tower! After that the rest of the defending army will tear into your big loners.....and I can almost bet you will not get one shot on the tower!

As to the army, you need more troops, lots more troops.

Well now here's the funny thing...I ended up, due to number constraints, using my 'backup' BPR army and playing as the defender (going 4-1 between two tournaments) this weekend. So all of that abuse was for naught. :D

Actually, the sick thing is, it wasn't victory. I had two odd third place finishes. In the first tourny(ie?) it was a swiss format in which I played the champ in the second of 3 matches. Had two die rolls been one dot different, I would've made it through to the finals. On the second tournie(y?) I was 2-0 when they eliminated the 3rd round of swiss because the venue had to close, so I was cut on pts. At least at one, I picked up another pickett. Whatever
