Well your not clicking through the dial, or having a refrence sheet, and there is no rule against looking through ther plastic. Just pretend you have x-ray vision...
Ridureyu, not sure if you were serious or not - the little smiley face has me unsure. But in case you are, the foils are special rare models in Minions. They are the same as the *** regular models, but are made of a clear, see through material which glows in the dark. Kind of crystally-looking. They are fairly rare (2 per case).
I have yet to actually see one in person so I have no idea how hard or easy they actually are to see through the dial of!
Count Zero (I think it was him - sorry if I am giving credit incorrectly - I am sure I am not getting the quote quite right) had the best comments on glow in the dark figures:
"Sure, we play in the dark all the time. We push the figures around, roll some dice, then turn on the lights and see who won."
My guess is that some are overreacting here... Usually, good players will know ALL the stats of their figs BY HEART. Now should we start ejecting good palyers because they KNOW that Nightstalkers lose a lot after 1 damage? Should I DQ a player who knows a werewolf is on its prime after 1 click of damage? And what about the player who knows his Tormented Soul will die if pushed? whata bout the guy who know it takes X clicks of damage to kill fig Y? Should those guys be DQ'ed because they have more infos then their opponent?
Come on get real.
Now is there really prejudice if both players benefit form the same advantage? I mean, sure you can know your fig will gain some SA after some damage, but so can your opponent. So is anyone at disadvantage with that?
