LEs are pieces like Bakus which you can't get unless u win in a tournament or buy it off ebay for alot of money. You can use uniques and chariots. Of course if you want to make an army with no uniques LEs or a chariot go ahead and post that would be cool also
Yeah, its a "Dream" for now just because i don't have an anunub. Let me know how it turns out if you do intend to playtest this. I actually came up with this when people suggested single faction armies. Someone had the idea to suggest 70-30 armies. Whats even better is that army fits in that capacity too. Heh, i guess if they do change it like that, i've created a monster. As is, its still a dream for me.
I was trying all this month to build a no unique conquest army, and looked at my army book and realized most of my conquest armies don't have LE's in them, LOL.
The point this army is just to tank it. Most of the conquest armies down at my venue use multi-dials and so i figured i fight fire with defended machines throwing big rocks. A GFD (most common MDF at my venue) needs a 9 to hit a stonethrower, even if its a light. With the Ram gun, and solid healers to back em up, i can take care of swarms fairly efficently, the brass commanders give me a solid action base, and the shades run around blocking LOS and generally being annoying.
"Breath of Fire"
1xGFD Ancient
1xLight Fist of Tezla
10x***Amotep Gunners
5x**Shamen
4x*Goblin Volunteer
1x*Shade
5x*Imp

1200 even.
This army was actually the one that caused the shift from big formations to multi dial use. When i basically killed an entire formation of ***Steam golems in one turn people realize how lethal F/L is. Its weak against ram guns, but i'm the only one at my venue with enough technomancers to pull an effective ram gun off anyways, so meh.
in the 200 pt bakus army, do you move the bakus in formation with the gunners? if you don't then you use up tons of actions, but if you do, bakus is slowed down. that's qhat i think anyways.
oh and for the "mini fort" i used something like that before, the only difference is that i used a scorpem gunner and a standard crystal protector. i chose it ove the tracker because of FL which can soften up swarms that can be the downfall of the stomper.
Yes, I do move the Bakus with the gunners, the original build (built by Teloric, he gave me the idea) had Khumeret instead of bakus, and a **Elite Surok Aprentice instead of the *Shamen. I wanted Bakus in there and figured that a little slowdown was worth it for a magic healer and a longer bounding range.
As for the Mini-Fort, Ram is SO prevelent in my venue, so the toughness was essential. A ***Scorpem Gunner would have been eaten allive. Meh.
