I've found the Spine Suckers to be pretty useful- and I nonly have a * one. I have twi foil Submersible Golems, but they don't seem to be worth anything.

The Spine Sucker, alas, is crapola. Nice mix of abilities, interesting use of Pierce - and effective because of the SS's very high attack! Unfortunately the embarrassing defense figure and lack of anti-capture special abilities means this guy will either be dead (for 40+ pts) or captured (for 80+pts) faster than you can say his name.

I've really tried to use this guy. *Everything* kills him. He simply costs far too many points.

i've had about 4 tough SS ... 2 blues and 3 yellows ..
and what did i do? TRADED all of them ... yes, they have a good mix of abilities but ... 40pts??? for a fig that can easily be captured??? :( it should've had BF... for almost all the way down the dial :(

what exactly does capturing do?

capturing ...
well .. to capture ... if possible ...
the target must not have BF or Berserk or invul on it's slot ...
declare capture
then do a close combat action and add +2 on the def. of the target ... if successful, the target will now be considered as captive and can no longer join in any combat ... uuhmm for further info read the manual? and if you somehow manage to bring the captive back to your starting position, you will be awarded 2x the point value of ur captive

nice but what if your one of those people whos goal in life is take no prisoners? lol/

then eliminate as many as you can if possible do a WIPE OUT :)

Look at it from this side: the fig is nice Dungeons decoration.
Quite a value of in itself.

I have a few broken figs as in lost arms and hair..... lol weapons etc.. and my super glue bottle umm kinda glued its own cap on to it so icant use it no more..... (life sucks) lol. Is this common and you can still use them in armies right? Or are they forced to have lower stats because they are missing limbs from when they were being carried aruond.:D j/k i am sure they dont but you can still use them right? Or will i look like a real noob if i show up with broken figs.

some of these figs are just too fragile ...

some times i want to put amazon dracs in padded cells, you barely touch em... SNAP!, it really sux when you get 1 with a sticky dial *shudders*

nice i have an archer missing his bow this spellcaster dood missing his really cool looking staff. two people had their hair fall away then a wing fell of this bat guy.

Sounds like the spine sucker makes a better miniature than a game piece, shame too, it is one adorably ugly mother****a.


Funny, thinking about the cursed hag. gives me an idea the intrepid heros of a D& D party face off aginst wood golems and deadwoodgolems controled by the cursed hags. Blair witch FRPG style:D
