the original notice given to venues, when they were told that this item was available at their distributors, was that this was a not-for-resale item, to be used for display only.

Since I'm the venue owner, I can tell you what these things cost......and it ain't close to $20

They are lying through thier teeth to you. It was NEVER intended for selling. {there is NO upc code]

BTW thats a big fat gouge too. to my knowledge the store paid 5 bux us for that. But i have seen worse at a joint named collect a card and comic in chi town where the :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: was selling it for $50! Even after i warned him the peices were UNPLAYABLE. Oh, he was also SELLING the promotional increadable hulks for $2 each[limit 5] . The ones that were 100 for 25 bux [25c each] to retailers so venues could promote hereclix by GIVING them away.

Your local store is probally of of those places who have never heard of the words refund or satisfied customer.

I bought my own of that display case for 10 at another location. The figs themselve are worth about that much to a mini maniac like me.

My venue has one of those packages, they look quite cool, but aren't on sale. They're on the shelf in between all the Wizkids merchandise.
