I'm usually constantly pacing around the table while it's my turn and not my turn and when i'm not doing that, i'm constantly sitting down in my chair and then i get up almost as soon as i sit down and then sit down again, etc etc. Aren't those great forms of exercise? ^.^;;
Actually, if you want to lose weight while playing a game, go play Dance Dance Revolution.
im at this computer more than anything else, hell probably more than i sleep, but im short of 6 feet and count em, 137 pounds. 137. im underweight. i eat normally. i havent gained 5 pounts in the last 2 years, despite the fact i grew. my metabolism plays into it as said before. just get the amount of exercise your body needs (in my case thats nothing at all...)

Eazy, I am sending you a bill for a hip replacement.
I read that and fell out of my chair.
Playing games doesn't make a peson fat.
Having these things apply to you does:
Having a slow metabolism.
Getting no excercise.
Not eating right.
Being extremely lazy.
Spending time not moving.
Picking up the remote control being the height of your activity.
Eat. Sleep. Repeat.
Make MageKnight a workout! Golem Mechanix' steps to becoming a fit mageknight champion.
-Don't drive to your venue. Jog! It increases blood flow to the entire body, including the brain, allowing for better thought out turns and actions, the aroma of your-hardearned perspiration may also help to distract your opponent, causing them to keep a distance from the table your effectively hindering their capability to estimate more precise measurements and properly monitoring your actions.
-Ankle and wrist weights. These bad boys help add definition to that combat-minded body of yours, making yuo a leaner killing machine. Every time you move that formayion your burning calories fro each figure. I highly reccommend this tactic for people who like to pace and play swarm armies, you get more bang for your buck (just like your heroes, those Elves at Arms!).
-If you play that ever-growing 'double-turn, chug-a-beer' house rule I would like to reccomend light beer. I know, I know, but the newer, fitter you requires sacrifices.
-Every victory point behind you are of the champion at the end of the tourney translates in to one pushup/or situp. Run a mile for your finishing place (2nd= two miles, 3rd= three miles)
-If you can force-march a stubby-legged dwarf 33% faster then he could normally run, you better be able to push yourself, too, it's only fair.
Follow these outlines and you will find that your favorite passtime is also more effective on your glutes then that Windsor Pollati stuff.
Last of all, go hard or go home, you deserve it!

Coffee! I drink lots and lots of coffee, and my metabolism runs at a nice turbocharged pace. I've been between 130 and 140 ever since I was 15 or so. I'm 31 now, and about 5' 9''... I've worn a 29" waist size for 16 years, heh-heh. Healthy eating has a lot to do with it (except the coffee).
Welp, for the being the former top conquest player in the world (4th right now), im in better shape than probably anyone that plays the game, but its due to the fact that i ran Division 1 Track at Villanova...so yeah, im 6 ft 1, 195 pounds of six pack abs and muscle, i eat right most of the time and run and lift weights about an hour a day 4 to 5 days a week now that im retired from track. anybody can do it, just put the time in.
well sitting around a table thinking hard is better than watching tv, by any stretch of the imagination..now better than video games....that's close....
