Aaanndd, my friend is a big Fantastic Four fan, so I've come up with a number of alternate Four teams:
DC - Plastic Man, Firestorm, Swamp Thing, Huntress.
Frightful Four - Sandman, Abomination, Firelord, Mystique.
You get the idea.

Tried out a 400 point Holiday-Themed Team, consisting of:

Silver and Gold:
R Steel
V Booster Gold

The Harley and the Ivy:
V Harley Quinn
V Poison Ivy

Red and Green:
E Plastic Man
V Swamp Thing

With a pair of Outwitting Intergang Medics for good measure. (Um...Two Turtle Doves? Yeah, I got nothing.)

Originally wanted Flash to be the Red in Red and Green, but my opponent had already drafted him, so I went with Plas. Swamp Thing was particularly fitting -- not only is he green (The Green, actually) he's essentially a great big shambling Christmas Tree. (Thus his nickname, for the game: O, TannenBOMB!)

Firestorm would have made an excellent Heatmiser, of course. Unfortunately, Wizkids still hasn't given us a Mr. Freeze or a Killer Frost or even a frickin' Icicle to serve as Snowmiser, so I had to put that idea aside for now.

Robin, Black Canary, Hawk, Dove would have made excellent partridges in pear trees, but there wasn't room.

I won with this team, but the victory was bittersweet. I was really hoping one of my opponents would put a Hawkman on their team.

That way, I'd have been able to deck a Hall.
