I eagerly anticipate each of these updates. I can also tell that a pretty large mood swing has occurred with some people. It is good to see the new stuff and get a feel for the mechanics and new hotness. Can't wait for November.
Question about the terrain placement. From the description and the pictures it appears several of the terrain were placed touching each other (OK you dirty minded MK players .... not that type of touching each other ;) ). I'm not up on the rules in 2.0, but I thought terrain still needed to be placed 2" apart. Also, was I seeing something or were there 8 pcs of terrain on the board ?Does that mean you could theoretically completely box out an objective so only a flier can get to it ?
Finally, could someone explain Jeweled Helm to me in more detail. If your unique wields this Relic do you have to remember to turn it off at the beginning of your turn (if you choose not to use it), or you will be forced to take a click of push damage ? Kind of like...you forgot to turn off F/L, so you only do 1 damage ?
Draddog, are you and RoadSpike playing these games straight up, or are you conspiring ahead of time to create a desired effect. For example, are you talking to each other about the domain cards, relics etc?

As far as Constructed Terrain is concerned, no's all around to your questions. In 2.0 terrain is placed 3" apart (from each other and objectives). Constructed terrain, however does not have that limit with each other, so you can connect constructed terrain. Terrain placement rules lets a player place 2 pieces of constructed terrain instead of 1 piece of normal terrian. If your opponenet actually helped you box in a objective, he's got a reason ;).

It's optional. That being said, I'm not up on the current rules on when you have to turn off what. I believe the current ruling is it's on unless you remember to turn it off, so yes ,in theory you have to declare it off. That may not be the case in organized play.

No, we are intentionally not informing one another with what we are doing, so we can be competitive. This was kind of hard with these armies because they were provided by Warlords, and Brook and I both involved in that process. The next set of articles and GBR's will be a lot different however. We are very "blind" to each other in regards to those;).
Also, 2.0 does not need conspiring to make a cool GBR, it just plays so much fun and exciting, we can just play a game and it ends up being cool!
It seemed at times that figures were doubletiming to move greater distances than the 8 inches allowed by the domain. Is that the case or am I just overestimating the distances?
I noticed that at the end, you were talking about points determining the winner if objectives were tied. Is that the new way of determining a winner?
How exactly is terrain destroyed ? Will each piece have stats like a castle piece. Are the stats static (in other words you acheive a defined attack value and the terrain is eliminated...no need to shoot it over and over).
So regular terrain that we currently use in 1.0 will still need to be placed 2" apart in 2.0 ? Or is it 3".

Well, you can double time 8 to 16 inches, the domain just drops the speed value to 8, but doesn't limit over all speed.

Thanks for all the great info!
It's been demonstrated in other GBR's, but yes, if both players have the same number of objectives, or no one has objectives, then points eliminated is the next deteremination.
