I don't have to face you to know that NS is weak. One player at my venue is a little on the, (ahem) obsessed side (look whose talking, LMAO :D). He has every single NS unique ever made and most of the LE's. I haven't seen a larger NS collection, ever. He's a very solid player, and when im not playing competitive armies will beat me from time to time, but the Necropolis Sect limits him time and time again (sorry, but its true Paintball). We all think that if he would play another faction, he would be kicking our asses as often as we do his.

Folks...do any of you ever visit the offical WK site?

WK has said that factions are going to change, there WILL be upheaval in the land, and that SOME FACTIONS MAY DIE!!! WK is going to continue their player based campaign events and have said that depending on the results (meaning our own desissions but we want the unwashed masses to feel important) some factions (read in EL) may die.

Simply put, WK is taking a page from GW's playbook. They will kill of a faction if

a. There seems to be no player support for it (beyond the usual band of hardcore fanatics) or...

b. It would make sense for the storyline to do so...therefore boosting up sales of boosters and making the game stronger.

Folks, the Dark Crusade is for real. Yes, some areas will be beaten back and some areas will not be.

As one of our brothern kindly brought up the EL/NS campaign wars...I would like to remind you that the NS FAILED in each of those campaigns, yet still are pushing back tree huggers all over the place. Why? Becasue wizkids feels that the EL are not loved/supported as a faction and that the NS have a lot of hate going for them right now which is why you non-NS people chose the EL side in those campaigns. Simple move, destroy the EL and make it into a weak faction in 2.0 that will use gorilla tactics to try to reclaim their homelands from the dark crusade. THis is why the EL do not have any subfactions in 2.0. They really arn't even a faction anymore.

What does this do for Wk? It keeps tree hugger fanatics sort of happy. AFterall...WERE NOT DEAD YET! We can fight back...It keeps NS fans happy becasue for the first time in 3 years the NS is finally doing someting important in a plot line that doesn't involve fighting with each other. Fans of other factions are happy because they now have a unified front to unite them and the solonovi are happy because for once, everyone is not noticing/blaming them for the entire world's troubles!

It makes good business to eleiminate factions and it makes us players jump up and notice that things do happen and storyline events are really important.

YEs, WK has a plan in store for the storyline and our imput into campaings does not always change that. Yet, we've proven in the past, that if we as a community complain on something powerful enough, WK will listen to us.

The lesson is this...if you want a faction to survive, then support it in the campaings...support it online...and let WK know you want it to survive.

Well, NS certainly will have a hard time waging a war on many fronts. It's just like Hitler and the Nazis- their reach exceeded their grasp. They were defeated because they attacked EVERYWHERE on the continent. Come to think of it, Hitler was a big occult afictionado...

Fact is, an alliance of the Land's factions will ally and push back Necro. It won't be easy, though.
