Kossak is such a disapointment. He just wasn't what I imagined in a Hero that almost beat Darq the Corrupt. I was excpecting this guy with a killer close combat attack value, oodles of involnerability, and Troll Behemoth like damage capacity. Not to mention going Berserk near death. This guy is just a really good one on one fighter that has a nice combo of SAs, but isn't the powerhouse I hoped for.

Khan Rava is not that bad of a figure. He is actually pretty good... BUT HE AINT NO ORC! If this is how all of the Shadow Khan look in the set, I will openly oppose them!

And about this lack of Battle Fury and Berserk, please tell me my Orcs can still get pissed of! PLEASE!

Command DOES NOT prevent capture as far as I know...so I fear Kossak will be dragged around the battlefield unless you give him Paragon's Shield or something - he'll still get whupped on!!!

ack! sorry to post again! just thinking, Rava is such an Am Drac killer! with Arcing Fire and 4 Damage and Pierce and effective range of 22" - put him with 3 Shamans to make it 7 Damage....

Just great, another uber-bound figure with Peirce no less. If I ever hear another person complain about an AD or Corpheus I'm going to scream.......

I don t seem that disappointed, i mean face it, is capturing REALLY going to be an issue in 2.0? Capturing earns you nothing and your figure is stuck sitting there for awhile waiting for that roll to elminate the captive. During that time your surged, beaten, brusied and smacked around so maybe your rolling a flipping 5 to kill a 18 defense!!!

Khan Rava just doesn't fit the orcish mindset... I mean he is fricken Big Bound! And if he is ever based, he is SCREWED! This is an orc that shoots people instead of beats people...

My skin crawls thinking of this!

Don't forget about all the 'uber' surge figures either.

Um, I'd gladly use a ***Amazon mancatcher to try to capture this guy and wait out the attempt to terminate it. I think a figure less than 30 points taking out 2/3 of the opposite army is something that is a terrifying thought.

So yeah, maybe once conquest rules exist somewhere for 2.0, Kossak might be cool to have, but I still wouldn't use him much...

Command prevents capture according to the 2.0 SAC.

I guess this goes to show that you need more than an expensive unique to win at 2.0. :D

If i hear one more person complaining about Khan Rava not being an orc i'm gonna scream.

Do any people read the faction fiction, or maybe i'm the only one to remember that the Shadow Khans left the Broken Tusks because they got pissed off of always loosing their merchandise BECAUSE THEY ARE WEAKER THAN THEM.

If your weaker you make up for it with speed,
not all orcs have 10+ attack, 4damage, and 6 speed.

Ok, I'm sorry, but I still fail to see how Kossak is such capture bait. I mean, he has a 17 defense, which gets effectivly raised to 20 if they try anc capture him. I know that with gang-up, this will get taken back to normal, but in the time that it would take to get all three of those figs into position, Kossak has more than likely hit at least one of them. Not only that, but he only requires a one to break away, so staying base contact with him will be hard, if he knows that capturing is the tactic against him.

Not to mention that as a Wing Type, he can easily escape capture formations. And what happens when you stick a relic on him? His defense could be ALOT higher then the 17 you currently see.

how does the nexeus abality work. i mean can kossak charge, deal the ram damage and still attack. if so that is awesome. but i still think he costs to much.
