I noticed that as well. I figured I would give them some credit as they are at least trying.
We really shouldn't expect much better from them in this avenue as they are doing all the survey's themselves instead of having a market research company do it for them.
As far as I know WizKids doesn't have anyone there with any marketing experience and it shows with these surveys.
Could this be why there are looking for a Marketing person for a 6 week assignment???
One thing that WizKids needs to address is how they fail to support conventions.
This weekend I went to a local convention near St. Louis that was going to have a large Mage Knight tournament on Saturday. When I got there I found out that WizKids failed to send anything for the convention even though the convention staff had been in contact with Dorcas at WizKids and she did say that she would send something.
I do realize that Dorcas is leaving WizKids, but that is still no excuse. The convention staff was told that they were receiving support only to find that it never arrived.
I know the people that held this convention as I ran all of the Mage Knight tournaments for them when I was a Warlord. They also run Archon which is one of the largest gaming convention is the midwest. They followed WizKids convention policy to the letter and were told personally that they would receive support.
I do hope the new convention coordinator performs their duties better and doesn't allow stuff like this to happen. If you tell a convention that they will receive prize support kits make sure they are sent.
There is no reason why WizKids should loose just about all credibility by not following through on something so simple as to send prize support to a convention that wants to support their games.

Hey Xan, think yourself lucky you're not outside the USA. For UK nationals there was not one DR LE available.
Most of the LE's given out were Hobby-Games old stock of now unusable figures, I felt bad for them because they were almost apologising for handing them out..

I sympathize with you and everyone else who plays Mage Knight overseas. You guys constantly get the shaft when there is no reason to.
It is plain and simple IMHO that if you send your product overseas and as a company they know that you guys have the same type of conventions that we do and play in sanctioned tournaments there is no reason there is no reason why they can't send the same stuff that they send us.
I mean WizKids has a staff that handles International distribution so what's the problem?
The sad part about this is that WizKids has lost so much credibility and yet they still act as if they have all the credibility in the world. It is one thing not to admit this, but another when you still allow the same things to occur that damage their credibility.
I host a convention in Bellevue WA every 3 months or so. The location is less than half a mile from Wizkids office. I have offered them free demo space to show anything they desire yet they will not send an envoy to promote their games.
I could understand this position if it were mid summer and they were attending Origins or Gencon, but mid February and early May??? C'mon.
Credibility went out the window last summer and they show no desire to try and get it back.
