Question it have been 10 days since the last post here ius the situation resolve ?

You're right it has been ten days....I let Homicide know what I expected as compensation for the two figures on Sept. 13th. Aside from his post on this thread on the 17th of Sept., I haven't heard a word from him, nor received payment. I had hoped that this would be resolved when he offered to pay me for the figures, but I guess it's just going to go on and on and on....

Knowing that Homicide wouldn't come through, I sent in a huge packet of info to the Postal Service along with my mail fraud complaint. Hopefully the USPS can get him to live up to his obligation and make things right.

this is bad news, as i paid homicide $80.00 a while ago for some figures and they havent been received, and he has not responded to any of my posts :(

When did you send him the money, Blubeard? Please keep me informed of the status of your situation, as I'm curious as to whether things work out for you...

i still have had no response from him nor have the figures been received. I started a bad trader thread for him here :mad:

Why don't you guys try to contact SKByTor since he said he's the warlord for Homicide's area. He might be able to help.

Well, I sent a PM to SKByTor on Monday, asking if he could help with the situation. So far, I haven't heard back from him...But I'm hopeful that he can and will help out on my part and on Bluebeard's as well.

Well, I e-mailed SKByTor a while back to see if he could help out. He said that he talked to Homicide at a tournament and Homicide basically said "I sent the stuff, so he's SOL." I'm still waiting to hear on the mail fraud stuff, though....

Well, after reading all that's written here I think there is a misunderstanding on El-ahrairah's side.

In my eyes Homicide's PM of 9/8/04 indicates three important things:
1. He has sent his part without DC - at least claims to have
2. As it didn't arrive, he instantly offered compensation
3. I often answer PM's from where I work. It happens I am sure I have got a certain fig for trade and when I get home I have to admit it's gone. It that happened because my kids were playing it or because I forgot it was already traded.

So if you jump on the conclusion that he won't honor the trade out of that PM that 's shortsighted in my eyes.

Please check if I could be correct here.

Umm, no, there's no misunderstanding on my part...

He offered to replace the figures with the same figures as compensation. Then he told me "well, I don't actually have those figures...." Then he offered me money. When I told him that I wasn't happy with that, but that since it seemed to be the only way to settle it and I gave him an amount I thought was fair, he told me I was being immature and then NEVER SENT THE MONEY....Then he tells SKByTor that he sent the package the first time and that I'm SOL. Not much to misunderstand there...

I guess my questions would be:

1) What were the figures?

2) How much did you tell him you wanted in $$?

I'm not saying you did anything wrong, but if the $$ amount was "outrageous" in his eyes, that could be the source of why this can't be resolved to everyones satisfaction.

I did speak with Homicide. I've known him for several years. He was a warlord when I started out, and is one of the most trustworthy people I know. I know that at one time he did have an extra Trix (as well as the other figures in question). He no longer has them. I believe he sent the figures.

There is no way I would have traded you a Trix and the rest of the figures that were agreed upon in your trade because Throne Monk and Gate Knight are not worth that much (just my opinion). The fact that Homicide did, and admitted to it, further makes me believe he sent them. I never said "you were SOL", I simply stated that I believe they were sent, lost in shipment and it is an unfortunate situation for both of you. From the tone of your messages it appears that you only want the figures promised or cash as a settlement.

At this point, if I had an extra Gate Knight and Throne Monk, I would send them to you personally so this would stop. As Chaimwitz asked, how much were you asking for in compensation?

Well, I looked around on the trading threads here at MKRealms to see what everyone else who wanted cash for a Throne Monk and a Gate Knight were asking....I saw most people asking about $12-15 for the Gate Knight and anywhere from $20-32 for the Throne Monk...So I asked him for $32 total for both figures. Now, I don't really think that that's a sum that is out of line for the two, but apparently I'm wrong...He agreed to trade me a Varatrix, Zombie Baron, Galeshi Sorceror, Master Cyrus and Magus Tivon.

And SKByTor, I know YOU didn't say I was SOL; that's the general attitude I've gotten from Homicide. Sorry if you thought that I was attributing that to you...And while it's great that you wouldn't have agreed to trade all of the figures mentioned for the Throne Monk and Gate Knight, Homicide seemed extremely eager to get them...
