I'm hoping that these champions are like riders, but come with 2-3 dials the sculpt fits in. If so, then I could see an order of vladd darq that is a big 'ol beatstick and a blood cultist darq who's more of a leader type fig (basically making him kossak or aeradon, whatever fits your mood).

Why is everyone thinking Darq is being remade? His old figure is still tournie legal, and it's not that bad, really. WHy would they be remaking figures that are only like three sets old? Thats sorta dumb.

Although they remade Kess, technically. Whatever.

Sometime after 2.0 came out, they said they were going to eventually drop down to having only the most recent base set and 3 expansions be tourney legal. If wizkids sticks to this, once omens is out, all 1.0 will be retired (except possibly the heroic quest/conquest/titan pieces).

I think having Darq in the 100'ish pt range (similiar to cost of chroma or caldera) would be great. He could be a beatstick with abilities similiar to Vaporgeckos that he posted reduced to 100 some pts.

Thus he could field some of his vampire legions to battle too or he could use his vermillion crown and have him gain command/leadership all for under 200 pts.

He should be a great melee unique that allows customization with relics/items, etc....
