Actually, objective tokens are clear terrain. So, if you have a soaring ranged figure, you can still hit them.
Also, Circle of Wraiths doesn't prevent base contact altogether; the intention was to force people to use 2 moves instead of one to base the figure. So, if your opponent moves his fatties towards your sorcerers, he has to stop before they go in base contact. The next turn, if the fatties are within 3 inches of the casters, they can base the casters.

This is a misconception a lot of people have. You cannot move inside a circle like this. When you move 3 inches away, you are within 3 inches so the move is not allowed. In addition, while objective tokens are clear terrain, I believe they would change to hindering terrain if for example Wylden Forest was played.
Oh sorry, my mistake. But, couldn't you move to exactly 3" away from the caster? And then, since the figures are not more than, but rather equal to 3" away, they could move into base contact? But then again, is equal to 3" the same as within 3"?
However, you can move to 3 and 1/32 which will put your summoned/necromaced figure right in the circle.
Also with Bombardment. The FIGURE is not the target, the token is, so a ghostform or stealth figure will get the effects of a bombardment being it has an area effect after the token goes off.
well if you had a sorceror of yoyrs with circle of leaves and a galeshi sunsword on a guy on a token... very hard no ranged or close. how could you beat that???
Just trample his arse..... Or one of the many single target, multi-hit artifacts out there. Revenant. Summon. Necromancy. hmmmmm, Im sure I could think of a few more.
