I like the idea of faction pure. I try to play it often, but sometimes based on the opponents at certain venues it really isn't viable.

I would rather play faction pure than a random mix of figures that people call an army nowadays. On the contrary, your skills come out when playing one faction because you have to deal with its weaknesses and play on its strengths. Mixed armies give more CHEESE and options.

I am surprised that over half the respondants go faction pure. I thought it was more of a mechwarrior thing. I find the mk world much more chaotic. I'll have to try faction pure to check it out more. Running and playing. No doubt it will end up being the Draconum Civil Wars.
