i think itd be a lot easier to do than most people seem to believe. I did not think of the point fw3 made that it may simply be to late. Still its fun to think about.

It's the nature of these games, they all really boil down to rock,paper, scissors. It's no different than any other "customizable" type game. Speed beats combo, combo beats control, control beats speed....It's all about beating the Metagame. In a good tourney environment, you SHOULD lose some games, It's all about minimizing your bad match-ups and maximizing the good ones...The game within the game. If you can't adjust.........go play chess. ;)

Biggest obstacle I can think of is the styatement by Jordan W at the 2002 Worlds (the first). He stated emphatically that WK would never offer cash prizes at tournaments.
In the same speech he also assured us that our figures would always be useable.

Seriously though, cash brings out the worst in people whilst our tournaments tend to bring out the best. Amateur is the way to be in this little corner of the gaming world. Just my opinion of course but if you disagree just stay quiet :D
