I played this one game
my opponent didn't even get near me or any objectives
although a ranged combat-heavy army maybe effective against some armies, don't depend on this set up too much. i should know since i made a similar army like yours once. be especially wary of harrassers with high speed points and berserker-type figs (those that become more powerful when damaged). and of course there are those with ghostform and limited invisibility. once these figs base your archers, it's all over.:)
blackwing** x 3 = 72 pts
blackwing* x 3 = 48 pts
grimlin* x 4 = 40 pts
shyft summoner* x 2 = 92 pts
deathseekers AC = 48 pts
with the deathseekers AC, those cheap MS will be able to inflict great damage to any opposing figs (a possible 6 and 5 damage for the blackwing and grimlin respectively). after pushing themselves to death, you can just summon them and do it all over again. the **blackwings are excellent harrassers while the grimlin can annoy the heck out of your opponent with venom. it's quite cheesy but effective. still easily countered, though. :D
Originally posted by phyriphiry Goldeneye, all your armies are built around one big beefed up creature. Although this tactic can be quite succesfull, it is also very dangerous. First, your biggie can get very crippled if your opponent uses the right domain, but far more risk is that you won't hold 2 objectives. Remember, winning is taking the most objectives !! Since you only have one guy, I would just stay out of range and in the last turn, take the other objectives then the one you are holding... This brings me to my point that a VERY IMPORTANT parameter that is always forgotten, is speed. Not attack of defense value...
This is true. I do have several more "stable" armies in the line up. When I create an army like that, I do bank on a lot including (like you said) domains and my opposing player's relics and pieces. I probably wouldn't use those armies in a tournament very often, but I,ve seen armies like the aformentioned dominate totally before.
Deathseekers is also pretty deadly in combination with revenant... You can push the revenanted figs to death anyway, because they leave the game anyway...

yeah, the revenant-deathseeker combo can be very deadly indeed, especially when reanimating powerful beatsticks like varatrix or quo'droma on dial e. imagine a potential 9 damage with crushing blow!
btw, phyriphiry. hazna won't be able to use the shyft's darkmarch SFA since she's a BPR fig.;)

the hatchetkruggs, hazna bez and the crypt wurm come closer. They can all take the attack value of the shyfts, so they are a lot more dangerous then they look...
ODJN7, I know. Hazna has a high attack value from itself, so darkmarch SFA is not really necessary. I liked the SFA with crypt worm tough: this wurm grows stronger at first, giving more and more dam (till 4 if i remember correctly) and he lives long, so can take quite some dam... :)
