bamf226, maybe i wasn't clear enough -- for step B) you resolve the entire at bat -- any potential hits, fielding checks, scoring opportunites, etc. once the entire at bat is done -- before a switch of innings or a new batter, then you take the click of performance loss... you don't need to know what the X-1 click of your pitcher is, since that will not impact the current at bat.
does that make more sense? sorry if my explanation was muddled.
