If I had been a casual MK player, I could see me continueing to try out their new stuff. Horror clix is a beer and pretzels game and I hope it is simple enough to play right out of the box with people who know nothing of clix games. If someone else bought it and put it on the table, I would try it out, but I will never spend another penny on a WK retail product.
I got on the wotc site last night and tried the dream blade demo, and hated the whole concept. It is not a miniatures game, unless you think Stratego is a miniatures game. It is the card game adapted to a gameboard and game figures that can move around the gameboard.
I hate the whole collectable concept now. It seems so oriented on Pokemon graduates rather than serious gamers, of course that calls every pro MtG player in the world a child, but I am only speaking of my own feelings.

This is the feeling I got from DreamBlade as well.
I may still pick up some of the cooler-looking minis, but for use in other games...

Yes, it is less a "miniatures game" and more a "strategy game with miniatures."

The problem is the scale is so large that the ability to do this is somewhat limiited. For example, I use lots of Mage Knight miniatures in my D&D game (the various golems make great warforged varients, for example). However, Dreamblade miniatures can only be used for giants and other large creatures because of their scale.
