I didn't say it was a waste, in fact I like the combo myself... I am just drooling with my 4 Not So Fast waiting in the wings. To me, the most damaging facet of the game is when two or three plot twists are gone with no effect. It hurts the opponent psychologically and strategically.

Usually not, but there could always be a situation later on where you'll say "Man, I wish I had someone with flight out". In that case, wasting your pump-ups could be a waste in the long run.
It works well against Brotherhood decks, Mojo decks, decks that use Nasty Suprises, Savage Beatdowns, Flying Kicks and Advanced Hardwares on weak charcters, Darkoth, Havok (I think) and there are others.
Fyi bcounterspell is out of the current standard magic format or at least type 2 , I'm not sure.
What is the most powerful color in Magic is debateable.
I doubt all artifiacts are useless because of oxidize. Simply because you can have 4 max of oxidize and I can have 4 artifacts, and 4 more (diffrent) artifacts, etc.
Btw this isn't a MTG discussion.
as for overload...eh Its just another card to me. Sure it could be usefull but how often would that be?
I think someone said earlier in this discussion that all they have to do is go 'just under' the attack that would be doubled.
Well, I'd say if you're consistently keeping your BH boys just at double their attack when they could be attacking for more, overload's done it's job in altering the metagame. I'd say that's especially true if BH players are running NSF to counter a counter.

Which means the smart players will take the Overloads out of their decks in secret and get the benefit of playing it (nobody pumping to past double) without having to waste the slot.
Overload is an excellent card that has many applications over a wide variety of decks. You can use it in the Doom control deck to prevent those pesky beaters from wrecking your skull. You can use it in any aggro deck as your defensive trick card, perhaps over Acrobatic Dodge. As people have noted, you can also use your Savage Beatdowns or Flying Kicks to Overload your opponent.
Does it belong in every deck...no, but it is good enough to consider running a few copies in just about every deck. But that is just my opinion. :)
having your opponent think you dont play overload is a terrible strat especially with no sideboard and matches being best 2/3.
then lets say at philly your "psyche out" works then all the brotherhood characters would see you dont play overload and they will just pump to their hearts extent.
plus i mean REALLY in my brotherhood i could care less if you stun toad ill pump him up high if you have overload good for you. if you dont looks like you will be taking quite the bit of damage. and with ppl like quicksilver and sabretooth theres no need to even pump over double for them unless you are just trying to deal more breakthrough which isnt needed when you are stunning all their characters =/
not to mention 2 for 1s in this game are just as bad as magic assuming the overload and svg beatdown to force the stun came from your hand (which is obv possible considering you rather have ongoing plottwists and/or locations down there.
