I think it will be a staple. The power to stop Ongoing plots is huge. Team-up decks have much to fear.

Have a Blast looks like it will have 3-4 copies in most competitive decks (unless you're running Ka-Boom!). It just works better than Relocation and Ka-Boom(unless of course you're going Resource control) AND can work on Ongoing Plot Twists as well, what's not to like?

Kinda reminds me of Mystical Space Typhoon in YuGiOh.

They just had to make Foiled even more useless...

But seriously, it will be THE card to get in DC Origins, I'll need to get my hands on some quickly.

I hate going against the trend, as I see this card being able to go into almost any deck, but lets say my local area is all FF Beats with no Locations or Ongoing PT's.

A staple in Yugioh is different than a staple in Marvel, a game like Yugioh, your deck is the one you focus on. In Marvel, so many more factors to the game including jamming up your opponent. Running into a big PCQ or 10k or even an event like Gen-Con, Have a Blast will be heavily used. All I'm saying is it isnt as "staple" material as Savage Beatdown.

Still you are right, this card is much more versatile then Ka-Boom or Foiled or even Relocation... Maybe my tune will change after my boxes come in !

Most team up decks, from what I've seen, are usually running Multiple copies of team ups, and the most used Team-Up deck (Common Enemy) doesnt need the Common Enemy to win (Ask Cabotin). Still, Have a Blast will definetly be the most sought after card in DC.

Just my 2 pennies.

well neither have a blast nor fizzle bother me as i run GK and i just got my 2 boxes today and i got 1 have a blast and 3 fizzles(1 foil) not bad if u ask me....
