Right now I use 6 team-up cards (3 World's Finest and 3 Brave and the Bold...curse the bad distribution rate!), and I still find that I'm not drawing any of the team-up cards until turn 5+, which is a case of "too little, too late..." I might up the dosage to 7 or 8, if that's what it takes for consistently getting GK and TT teamed up.
Also, I've only one Alfred so far, unfortunately. He's certainly useful when I get him in an opening hand, but that's dependant on a lot of luck as well. So, I use a bunch of GCPD Officers to fill out the curve at 1-cost characters.
I'm lacking in even some of the uncommons (only 2 GCPD HQ, and 2 Bat-Signal), so I hope to get 4x of certain cards in the near future (4 Bat-Signal and 4 Optitron would be a great way to increase drop consistency...I've only 1 Opt, though).
I am running B&B and i am not experiencing any of the consistency problems reported here. After testing and looking at the top decks at the last few tourneys I think I have the correct list. You HAVE TO run 4 copies of Mirage. Try that and Alfred will always work and you will be able to activate teamups all the time.
BTW, the B&B deck is a Titans deck that splashes GK not the other way around.
Did someone take this decktype to an tournament? How did it go? What was your matchup like against Common Enemy, which I think will be heavily played everywhere
bloke stop talking, B&B doesn't lose to cosmic radiation combo because 1 utility belt stops allfred so the combo never goes off. Jesus playtest before you go and start making claims of what beats what.
B&B needs mirage and alfred. i also run donna troy in my version, it's pretty cool the number of times you can actually pull a dynamic duo with an officer out. i also have spoilers and no 5-drop batman, instead going with dick grayson, titan leader for the attack boost. four drop is kid flash since there's a lot of officers in there (around 8) and three alfreds plus four bat signals ensures the team-up. i also find that heroic sacrifice is EXCELLENT PWNAGE for the deck, it effectively stops anything. couple it with garth and it gets ugly. also try running 4x fizzle for countering HaB, and since i only run 4 b&B team-ups (with alfred and bat signal it's effectively 11) i have space for the fourth fizzle. otherwise it's three.
it will be an excellent deck. we just need the best build.
Sigh. B&B doesn't run 4 drops for a reason. You ideally go alfred turn one, alfred and a one drop (preferably Mirage) turn two, alfred and a 2 drop turn 3, alfred and a 3 drop turn four, then you drop Garth turn five and smash face. Keep Alfred out on turn five in case you need to run for a Fizzle or something. You just never need a four drop. This deck breaks the curve. RE: Cosmic Radiation Combo: Alfred for Flame Trap and Dynamic Duo and stun all their guys before they go off and it's GG. You could Fizzle their CR and Fizzle their Fizzle fo shizzle too.
