YES! Alternate/Extended Art is gonna hit the market! I find it a little odd though that they chose to use gray for the numbers. It also looks as though they retain their respective set numbers. I thought perhaps it would be red text and they would be given tin specific numbers. Still going to have to buy a pair of tins though! Oh and does anyone know if those cards are going to be foil?
Am I the only one who isn't swooning over these? :p
Valde,
I guess I joining you in the "not so excited" category.
I would probably be more impressed if they were the rare versions of the characters. Don't get me wrong, the art does look nice, but I don't feel like it's nice enough to warrant me to shell out another 15-20 bucks. But thats just me...
Originally posted by Vascanado I was thinking, if it is only going to be 4 packs, it shouldn't cost anything near 20 dollar range right? Should it be around $12 (more or less) ?
The Yu-Gi-Oh! tins have routinely retailed for $24.99 and they contain 5 booster packs.
Let us not forget that most stores sell the packs at $3.99, and 4 packs would be about $16.00.
I will not be buying any of the tins. I have always disliked the idea of tin's. Reason being they try to get players to go after different artwork or a variation of the cards abilities. Why, not just add in these new looking cards into the next set?
The tin's are only good for new player's as far as I am concern. But, hey this is only my opinion:)
although tins can have an impact on the second hand market sale (see yugioh) its not like they are gonna do like savage beatdown and feral rage as tin cards. the tins give you alternate cards, packs, and most of all spiffy tins to keep... well anything in. i think they are cool, and hopefully UDE will continue makeing them. also non of the cards they are putting in the tins are really valuable, so its not bad for the secondhand market.
