sounds right, Bastion would be too nasty with that, you could dump him early and have twins (or triplets!) later.

Longshot isn't broken and he certainly doesn't need to be changed. You can build your entire deck around him but you need roughly 35 or 40 cards of your deck to be made up of two different character cards. If you don't draw Longshot you're pretty much hosed. I could understand the issue if Lonshot fueled decks were winning PCQs and Pro Circuit events left and right but they don't. As Stu already said, he was the only one packing Longshot who finished in the money at the Pro Circuit Indy event.

I'm personally looking forward to being able to build a Sentinel deck with a curve. We just need something to replace some of the card drawing from Longshot, more decent drops along the way, and maybe a search card aside from Trask to fill in the holes.

Has to be Army Sentinels for Tri-Sentinel, there is no way they would do it for all Sentinels, that would be broken.

i dont think long shot needs to be changed either. it is still a chance to hit. if you miss with him he is done for the turn and he is only a 1 cost 1/1 big deal he is easy to take out if you are that worried about him make sure you take him out first and then work your way around if they have to keep using a resource point to recruit him then good. But they still have to hit both of the named cards.

Errata? What errata can this card have without changing the entire way the card works?

Its a chance card, something that works with a little bit of luck, sometimes you hit sometimes you miss, you build your deck around a theme that utilizes him, how is that any different than a common enemy deck?

Errata is there for confusion, to better clarify a card, not totally revamp a card, as soon as UDE say, hmm..lets revamp this card, it won't stop, another and another will be changed, and I for one don't want that to happen.

The only current card that can even attempt to break this card is Madame Web, and she is a 3cost card that will get slaughtered along with Longshot in the same turn.

Longshot is one of my favorite guys, and i dont even play sents with him. I am working on a Magneto Nightwing deck with Lost City that uses him heavily and i think all army decks as a whole need him to keep their hand full. I mean just just to keep up with the curve they have to drop more guys which they cant do if they only have 2 cards in their hand.

Don't be scared of Longshot, the card is only based on LUCK. It is just a feeble way to play the game, but if played correctly a wild vomit deck can even win without Longshot.

There are so many other affiliations that can eliminate Longshot if he becomes annoying. The League of Assassins have the Ninga, Doom has Reign of Terror, GK have Utility Belts, even Sentinels have Mach I to negate activation abilities; there are many ways to stop a 'Activate' affect.

Whoever wanted to errata the Longshot has not been doing their homework, and wants to only take the easy way out.

Petition for this thread to be closed and people shut up about Longshot already. Jesus, Sents win a few matches and people want to cry foul. Get over it!

For Tri-Sentinel, if its all Sentinel cards, I'm getting my Team-Up and 3 8 Drops ready to be played turn 7. Therefore, I think its gonna be Army Sentinels.

I'm for Longshot staying as is. He's perfectly fine, yes, you fill your deck with armies, but no longshot=bad flooding

Without Longshot, your taking out a whole deck type, and thus, making a LOT of Wild Vomit players mad (including me >_<). He's perfectly fine the way he is, and a must in that decktype.

I see both sides of this argument. Longshot doesn't need to be errata'd in the current metagame, but its also a card restricting future development in some ways.

I'll leave decisions and ideas to the experts.
