I have many hats. This one happened to be staff writer and not so much teammate. It's kind of like the hats you wear. Really cool Sentinel guy with groovy avatar to meany.
(stu edit: "board troll" is a bad word Dave, mark it in all three of you journals please. Chad was just trying to fit into the evil mask. Love, Stu)

See the hats comment. Some people have no clue who the Team Realmworx guys are. There are about 1500 new members to this site since we picked the original five. Of course I know who Rob is and what kind of player he is, but what good is that if the readers of the site don't read minds.

Not really plugging VsRealms as much as it is plugging the team.

Maybe it would have been better if I asked these questions instead:
So Rob, Indy, indy, indy, indy?
(stu edit... here's where it got out of control. Up to this point, I thought everything was funny. Dave went a little too far at this point and I deleted the rest, but that's just Dave. He's tri-polar you know. That's why we all love him in so many different ways.)

Thanks for the TT list. I would be interested to hear what their strategy was for beating CE. This list, much like Jason Green's, seems to aim for much more of a mid-game approach than a lot of other TT decks. 18-1 is impressive.
Sign me up for not giving a squat about who is on Team Realmworx. I'm sure they're all great guys, and some pretty good players, but there's a bunch of people here on this site who would fit that category. Are we gonna write an article and interview all of them?
It all seems a little too much like patting yourself on your own backs, but what do I know?

Harsh? I just responded in the spirit of the replies. Did that come across harsh? I guess I apologize.
(stu edit: and you guessed right! See, I don't feel that the Loving Harsh Sarcasm form of art is the kind of thing that belongs in this museum, and I am Curator. Let's try to derail that movement. Please.)

Fair enough...as my #1 critic, then I shall vow to work harder to please you sir. I would hate to see the day when you did not make your appearance in my threads and I am sure poor writing will run you off.
I still think the interview was a good read....I love me some Rob...but maybe you guys just don't care about the personalities that make up the game. I'll give it some thought.

I do think that was pretty harsh, Dave - you obviously missed my response's point if you thought it was a nonconstructive jab at you.
1) My point about your 'voice' when interviewing him and his response framework was that it undercut the potential this kind of article could have. It could have been MUCh stronger if it was a discussion between the two of you rather than stock questions and stock answers.
2) My point about VSRealms wasn't the actual interview of a TR member, which I think is a great idea - and I told you as much when you mentioned the other day you were writing the series. There is some good stuff in here. It's just the framework that could be better.
Stop taking my criticism personally, and look more deeply into what I'm saying. Nobody said that you shouldn't profile TR beause everyone knows who they are. What I said was that the pretense of being strangers doesn't work. It would be better to have a free form intra-teammate discussion - and would make for a better read, too!
GDE: Well you see, they aer the big suk and I aer only small suk.
GDE: GDE, Where do you gleam such knowledge?
GDE: Why I gets all my iders from vsrealms.
GDE: GDE, How do you feel about TR?
GDE: I'ts really a mixed bag. Some pretend to be casual and then thump their chest when they win money. Others pretend to be great then go 3-4. Others yet take away my ability to post on their yahoo list when I go off on sos/bloke.
GDE: GDE, Why did you agree to do this interview?
GDE: Interview, I thought I was just talking in my head.
(stu edit: I absolutely adore this piece, I think it is hilarious, and I want to endorse GDE for a clean slate. He has gotten 76% better at his disgusting habit of "trying to show how smart I am by enraging you" and I would miss him if he was gone. GDE, thank you. Sincerely. If I was Kergy, I would take away your rights too... but you are an asset to this community if you continue to be as postitive as you have been lately. As for the "pretend to be great" line... this is coming from the hobby league... you can't talk YET my friend. No chest to thump for you. I wouldn't count you out for SoCal though... I think you are probably pretty good.)
(stu edit: Yo, Adam. How's it hangin'? Thanks for your support, I didn't see this quite turning into a "flame war" among the senior members of the team, although you were right that it looked like it could go there. Cooler heads prevailed and I deleted your lament. Please make sure I see you posting in the future, you're stuff is great.)
