Good article. Nice job featuring real vomit instead of purple vomit. :)
This deck is real and viable. I call my build "Mr. Roboto", and it stacks up well against almost anything. Master Mold is a good sub for Bastion if you don't get him. Trask gets you ahead early. More than one Mark V out on the board is a real problem for any opponent. I've never thought about adding Tag Team, but now I see how it really works.
Good article! I especially like the description of Fatal mindraping (or jedi mind tricking, whatever you wanna call it) that guy into stunning his army character. If I were that guy, I would buy a Magneto helmet.
Then again, I tend to be that worse type of gamer that En-Kur starts off talking about....
Haha, what a great pic. Curve's worst matchups are B&B and BBH. Rush/beats decks have trouble winning if the curve deck hits mark V then nimrod as they block a serious amount of damage.

True. Except the 5 drop magneto (which is typically the top of a lil' bortherhood build since they can drop him, pop genosha, and get their TNB effects along with card advantage), since he can choose to exhaust a 4 drop or less during his attack step, and an exhausted mark v no longer reinforces jack. The point is if a lil' brotherhood is clicking right, you will be at less than half life by the end of turn 4.
I have to say that I was EXTREMELY impressed with the Curve Sentinels deck, as well as how deftly you both (En-Kur and fatalsync) navigated them. I know that I am one of the many players in Tulsa who has been scrounging cards to playtest it.
I am indeed gratified to see that I earned a modicum of the respect from Team Realmworx (considering that you are a top tier group of players AND all-around decent guys).
Since I'm probably not going to get to ride the train to SoCal, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Realmworx team does. I don't know who the favorite is, but you guys definitely are my pick to win it all!
Congrats again, guys! Best of luck to you in SoCal!
[To be fair, though, you are ALL really darn good... so luck is merely a fomality! ;) ]
I'm testing curved Sentinels with TS instead of Savage Beatdowns, if only because I don't have the mad cash to spend on +5 ATK. I like it. I finally see the beauty of purple.
I think Termination Sequence is an effective counter against a Beast Boy situation. Yes, it costs a Mark V or higher, but if you can evade a Brave and the Bold Fizzle, it takes Beast Boy out of there without a fight.
I played against this deck (card for card) with a Titans deck in the finals of a PCQ this weekend. We had played in the swiss and he'd beat me relatively easily. I drew much better in the match play and beat him 2-0.
He hit his drops in game one and I hit mine, I had odd initiative and hit him hard on 5 with 2 TTG and when I had Heroic Sacrifice for his Boliver attack on 6 he scooped.
In game 2 he missed Nimrod on 5 but boosted a MK 5, he also missed Bastion on 6 and played 2 MK 2 instead. The game pretty much ended that turn with 3x Press the Attack on Connor Kent.
It seems that Curve can beat Sentinels if they make it to Bastion without using up too many of their resources (Recon Program/Beatdowns etc.). Also, they need to draw all of their defensive cards and use them wisely because TT will outnumber them by turn 3 almost every game.
Curve can beat Titans. They have the answer to Terra and Roy Harper in the MK 2. To answer your question, they have ZERO way to stop Garth and TTG, but few decks can.

LOL sorry about that. I just mis-remembered from the pairings list. I'm suprised Dave didn't correct it. I'll do that now.
