So here's my next question, are cards really expensive there? I once went to Virginia Beach (for anyone who knows, and this was when Pokemon was popular) and each booster packe was like 6-7 dollars and I'm like heck no! $3.29 was a little over the edge pricewise, but this was just too much. Do many people play V.S.?

Price-wise, seems like boosters go from like 3.50 - 4 bucks or so, depending on where you get them around here.

As for people who play, I've really only ran across 2 or 3 stores that have weekly vs tournaments, so it hasn't quite catched on yet, I suppose.

Does anyone know, or have a link to where exactly the 10k's being held? Like a convention center or what? Hopefully it's within a mile of the main strip, so I can walk to the casinos and hotels.

I think its the Alexis, but did anyone notice it is Superbowl Sunday the day after the 10k?

Ill be heading out from San Diego, my first PCQ so Im really looking forward to it. Also think Ill just save the money I would spend on a nice bed for some drafts, so its looking like the car for me as well.
