Actually, this thread most definitely does not say that I hate people that use the word broken. That would be patently ridiculous.
I dislike people using the wrong words because they don't seem to understand what they mean.
Because broken is used in massive amounts on these boards without a lot of thought to its meaning, it has become completely devalued and doesn't really mean anything. What is the point trying to correct this issue by posting about it in an area that isn't frequented by the people who I am trying to reach?

Broken doesn't mean broken anymore.
Broken now means either 'it's really good' or 'I can't beat it'. My friends use the word broken all the time in the first sense (and sarcastically in the second sense). It also tends to refer to cards that 'break the rules' in an annoying and powerful way (like Roy Harper--you're not supposed to stun your opponent's guys before their attack step on their turn). Whether people like it or not, that's what people perceive it to mean, and what people perceive it to mean IS what it means, right?
It's really a matter of who's saying it. There are people who will say 'it's broken' a dozen times a day--but they either don't mean it or they have no idea what's really going on. I generally trust my own instincts a lot more than I do the instincts of the average internet-goer.
I don't think anything is broken in this game, but I do think it's getting a bit stale. The team structure basically lets people develop four decks per set (maybe five) and see which ones shake out as good. The more sets released, the less likely it is that a new team will shake up the meta. The game is essentially fine, but something needs to happen to shake it up.

I understand what you mean and totally agree warwolf. But There should be other ways of solveing this "Problem," and yes it is a problem. I use other words to describe an effect or a combo. Depending on who good it is, I can use words like Stupid, nasty, or shoot even it's pretty good. I.E. Wow, Roy Harper is stupid... Were the people at UDE smoaking crack when they made him... OR The common enemy deck is pretty nasty... I need to become a "netdecker." All Wheelbarrow is saying is use the word right. "Broken" in it's purity should mean an imbalance in the game. So lets widen our vocabulary and stop useing the word "broken" as an article
