prices arre for top 8 or top 4 ?

I only got the reg one. I saw the foil and it is awesome. Also let me say that 4 drop Thor is a God. hehhe He is a game winner.

The shirt is navy. Front, Avengers modern logo. Back, killer 6-drop Iron Man with re-mixed friggin' EVIL eyes.

Just got back from the sneak preview.
And I have to say that UDE have the worst policy ever, because if you win one of the random prizes ( the mat, t-shirt, or deck box) then you CANNOT win another one even if you finish high.
One of my friend got 8th place (going 4-1) and got screwed by this policy.
So what's the point of playing if you can't get any prize ?
Why not just drop the flight and play in the second one after you get the random door prize ?

Those ramdom should be give after the tournament.. and those who win cant get random prices....

the way it was done in reno (maybe there's different ways of reading the rules) was if you already got a prize aka a shirt you wouldn't get another for placing high.. but the player getting 1st place was basically gauranteed a set of the giveaways aka shirt box and promo

eh mine was kinda bad, I went to neutral ground in nyc on saturday. It wasnt the fact that I went 1-4 but the idiots there decided "Okay lets hold a magic tournament, a raw deal tournament, and a vs pre release all at the same time!" It was too hot and stuffy to enjoy it and they ran out of chairs. Well in the end I think it was okay just cause I rare drafted and got like 11 or so rares. ^_^

Thanks - I appreciate the info. :) Looking up your suggestions they're all at about $50 right now - with a few days to go - and that just seems to be a bit high (I was thinking $30 seemed like a good "ungreedy" price). Ah well, I'll just keep looking. Thanks again though! :)

It was pretty sweet. I got one of the foil 8 drop Thors, they are amazing looking. I'll post a pic in a bit. I went 2-3, and one game I lost, I'm pretty sure the guy was stalling because he knew I was going to annihilate him on the next turn, and he ended up winning by like three points. That kinda sucked, but I still had a blast, got my Thor, a deck tin, and a playmat, so I can't complain!

And it smelled! It's called a shower people! It's there for a reason!

So what you're saying is that at your tournament..... if you won the t-shirt as a door prize, and then you got like 2nd place later on.....you can't get a deck box or a play mat because you got a t-shirt earlier and that was your 1 prize? That would be dumbl. You should be able to win one of each.

Seriously it makes sense that they would want spread the promo stuff around as much as possible.

Definitely not that way in MI. I got a tee as a door prize, then everything else for 5th.

I'd still like to say I have no clue how I went 4-1 to get 5th and a play error on my part kept me from 5-0. My only loss came to a 5-0 as well. About 60 people there. Since I'm used to Magic I thought it was small, but I guess I was wrong. Good group of people and I hope I can make it to the next big event.

Traded my deck box and playmat though. I didn't expect them to have much in the way of value. Keeping the shirt though because, as mention, it is sweet.
