I am sorry if you feel that way, but it is really a matter of perspective. Some people like to post that they like to hear Eye of the Tiger or Tell how they arranged their cards. I guess if that's ok then hearing what people think who they believe is the top 10 seems pretty much the same.
The whole point of a discussion board is to bring up a discussion. What you have right here doesn't bring up any sort of discussion. You are creating an aribitrary list for no apparent reason that has essentially no value because how limited the whole thing is. I ask you what is the purpose of this thread and what potential usefulness can be garnered from it?
Hasn't the overwhelming negative sentiment from this threat been enough to demonstrate that this thread and it's ilk are pointless?
There is a reason for this list, entertainment, if you are not entertained then shove off. Although if you happen to enjoy these lists, please let the man know.
Also, he is saving all the marvel army characters for a later list, it says so at the top.
Seeing as I have no real way to stop this guy from posting, I will just "shove off". As someone said earlier, the best way to stop these posts is to not say anything.
However, I would just like to say that:
a) All the discussion about this topic has been about the poster and not the topic.
b) There is a limit to the amount of discussion about the topic because of how limited he has made the range of discussion is.
c) Because of number two, there will be a decided lack of useful information gained from discussion.
Why are all you people making such a big deal about a guy posting what he thinks is the top 10 3 drops in the game right now? If you don't want to read the thread then DONT.
If you don't care to read such threads then leave them to the people that do an just stay off of them.

That's the thing though ... a list that is:
The top 10 [with extras in the case of 'ties'] Marvel non-army 3-drops
There's just no 'context' when you limit it to a group of cards set under arbitrary restrictions.
Why not have a list of top 17 characters that are either DC with an odd number for their set number or Marvel with an even number for their set number when playing against an Arkham Curve deck?
Top 10 lists are already going to be subjective, etc ... but when you add on a number of special modifiers to basically say "the top 10 cards if we don't count this, and this, and this and this".
Do sports shows give run downs of the best National League players that didn't go through the minor league training camps and wear hats while on the bench?
Deranged Bear, you started a thread about what the best way to organize cards is so I do not think you should comment on how pointless this topic is.
The rest of you who are giving this guy crap: grow up. Your pseudeo-elitist comments on what is and what isn't a good thread are idiotic. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE TOPIC THEN DO NOT READ!!!

Wow.
Thank you sir for that interesting remark.
Pseudo-elitist? What do you mean by that? I am acting like I am elite? Have I ever implied that I am better or talked like I am better, no.
I have criticized someone else, and that is different then asserting my superiority. I have never said that I was smarter or better then anyone. I have merely been more explainative in what I say. I find it ironic, that even though my sentiments are echo'd by the community, you are bashing at the only person who is spending the time to actually explain why he feels these threads are pointless.
Second of all, a thread about organizing cards is infintely more relavent than this thread is. Everyone whos played this game most likely has a) A trade binder, b) A deck c) Spare cards that they don't really need. Most of us need to have someway to organize these in a easy to find anc oherent fashion. I just happen to not have a trade binder and in addition to that, I am not very organized in general. Thus, I started a thread about it. This is especially relavent for me because I want to do lots of good trading at the JLA pre-release. The fact that the thread I started was very topical, never veered of course, and hasn't recieved this amount of frustration from the general community shows that most people do find that this is a relavent thread. I myself have garnered a decent amount of information from it that I intend on using on my organizing. I'm sure others have too.
Of course, he is entitled to posting what he wants. Perhaps you are right that I should stop reading the threads that he writes. However, I find it abhorrent that he is claiming that this is helping the community in some way, when his list is just clearly a bunch of random musings that have very little value to either beginners or the more established veterans of the community. The VSRealms community is considerably intelligent, and I feel that threads such as this that do not offer any sort of substantial discussion end up just being an eye-sore. Factor in that, we could potentially see a list for 4-7 drops, then for DC, and Amy charecters...
