Just a note (if anyone missed it), Calvin Coolidge was the president who preceded Hoover during the roaring 20's. Hoover inherited what later became the great depression and was forever downcast in history as a result, while "Cool" Calvin Coolidge has been revered for presiding over one of the most prosperous time periods in the history of the US.
