Clear sleeves are not automatically illegal.

They are legal in most tournaments.

As long as they are not ultra shiny, they are legal. TOs can decide if they are shiny enough to be illegal (so ask before you play).

i have to agree. the disappointment of having spent 12.00 on sleeves and have them not last the 4 gams of that very draft is immeasurable.

find yourself some players choice sleeves. exactly 60 or 100 count packs, and they are the best sleeves i've ever used.

As for official vs system sleeves... sounds like a cheap excuse for money to me.

As for where to find them, I don't know. It's already nigh impossible to find a place that carries vs around me, let alone vs sleeves. :ermm:

Ive played with clear sleeves in every VS tourney Ive played in. Ive never had one complaint.

shuffle and cuts shiiping aint that cheap but if u buy a few singles u get a free rare! so buy a buck or 2 worth of commons u want and get a free rare.

I'll add to the comment that they are trash. It would be cool if UDE did sell some high quality VS sleeves though.

My favorite sleeves are Dragon Shields and I'm trying Ultra Pro Tournament Sleeves, which seem to be okay so far.

I didn't say that was the most disappointing, but it was a big bad rub the wrong way.

But actually, my life isn't really bad either. I guess it's just all in how you think about it.

And I think those sleeves are really close to absolute garbage.

I gae them away to a local kid that doesn't play in events really and just wanted some sleeves.

And the sleeves aren't even the same color in the same pack all the time, as if the quality alone wasn't bad enough.

< You might also want to avoid using those artist series sleeves with the sexy judge or the barmaid type farm girl. It seems that 1 out of every 6 sleeves in a pack of 50 caomes with a printing line across the card that makes the sleeve a marked sleeve and unplayable for tournaments, not that the shiny backs weren't already an issue any way.>
