I'm sure we all have those bad calls we just wanna whine about and move on. This seems like a healthy outlet as long as we're mature about it.
Here's my most favoritest ever. Superman Sneak Peek. First game. Player claims that flipping locations and playing plot twist COST RESOURCE POINTS. I'm being nice, and trying to explain it, when he calls a judge over. The judge backs him up, and I kinda get a little angry and become a jerk for the rest of the match. Of course, after the game, I managed to prove the judge wrong... which he seemed really embarrased about. Ultimately, it didn't matter cause I had to leave that sneak peek early.

No one tends to complain when their judges actually know the rules. Thank you for making our tounaments not suck.
My favorite Judging blunder was at the Marvel Knights sneak peek.
When we pressed the judge for more details about the hidden zone (which was brand new at the time) Our judge ruled that hidden characters could be equipped... with all equipment!
Hanabal King in the Hidden zone with a War Wagon wasn't near fair....
________ Harley-Davidson VRSCD
A mate "taught" me how to play the game. Except there were turns, not initive, so player one starts his go, both players draw cards, player one sets resoruces and gets to attack, then both players can recover. Then we both draw, then player two set resources and gets to attack. E.t.c.
Yeah I know.
Also defenders could do breakthrough damage. And front row characters could reinforce each other.
Yeah I know.
Moral of the story being never let your mates teach you anything.

At my first constructed PCQ, I played a Sentinel deck in the top 4 who's main goal was to put flamethrowers on Hounds of Ahab--tech upgrades and everything. I didn't learn that was illegal until after I beat him (Terra is some good against that deck :) )
